I have to admit, the animators are really pouring their hearts into Eliza ojou-sama's animation. It's just so nice to look at.

And then Annie is made due to Eliza's lack of popularity.

The master plan.
Annie and Eliza are tied in my eyes, so I can't wish that upon Ojou-sama.....not even for Annie no Hoshi.

Oh God, the depth of Ancient Egyptian cultural research being undertaken is a little too much for me to handle.

Seriously son, the fuck is that thing?

It's an Egyptian relic that depicts the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. The mythological creatures with the intertwining heads are called Serpopards. (A portmanteau of Serpant and Leopard)

Get up on your Ancient Egyptian lore son, you can't hope to master Eliza without it.

Would you want it to be only entry level mummies and pyramids?

It was a rhetorical question, I do have access to Google. Thanks for the info anyway.

I don't intend to play as Eliza.

Get off my back bro, it was a joke.
No offense was meant dude (Although I can't speak for Maji). It can't be expected that everyone is aware of/ or possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of Egyptian history. Heck, the only reason I remember what the Narmer Palette is was because I helped a relative out with some homework.

Still, was a nice find for sure and helps explain what that move comes from exactly. And it answers the all important question of "Is it the blood hippos?"

It's not the hippos, there ended up being two similar but different hippo ideas between me and Alex. They'll probably go with Alex's because it was like 100x better.

I kinda figured it wasn't the hippos earlier anyway but I'm still looking forward to seeing them in motion regardless (the hippos I mean).

I noticed something peculiar about the Narmer Palette. If you look at it while eating ice cream, and ignore pretty much everything there is to know about Ancient Egyptian history, you can see that it almost retells the events behind the development of Skullgirls. Quick diagram below:

(And yeah, I know the Front and Back are out of order. Shhhh!)

I am not even sure I can come up with a witty reply. XD

Back half doesn't have the Launch Party still going. Everybody knows it's Launch Party All Day Erryday. I call shenanigans. :|

You have to collect three pieces of AB blood and connect with a blood hippo before you can transform into Sekhmet for 10 seconds.
I mean she's already got the assistant assist attacks.

Wait I just thought about this... since SG can have custom assists, we can make Eliza do a servant summon as an assist. So I call out Eliza for an assist and Eliza calls out Albus or Horace to Assist Her oh dear. My mind is hurt. Assist-inception.

Sounds a bit risky, Call Eliza the she the servant, many frames for a Assist, tought.

Holy crap, those animations are brutal.

Edit: btw, am I the only one who noticed the brain-out-the-nose thing is a reference to the embalming and burial process that the Egyptians used? Not to mention the urns that look like Albus and Horace coming out of her stomach is a reference to how people were often entombed with their pets when they died, who were often themselves mummified and put into urns or casts that showed what animal it was.

I like the reference but I don't think it really fits. Eliza's brain is, theoretically, inside Sekmet's Skull. Its probably the only part of her body that I don't think is fair game for going flying when she gets hit. I kinda hope that concept doesn't get in.

The other ones look good though.

For what it's worth, I think your Nekhbet concept is one of the coolest in her move set and that is saying a LOT.

Assist-inception.

The one with Horace might be interesting, depending on how fast it plays out. I mean, big ass hitbox dive kick assist?

And one day you folks will have to elucidate me on who this "Ojou-sama" is...or did I mistakingly stumble upon a Kanzuki Karin topic?

I'm not sure Eliza has a brain anymore. I assumed the inside of Sekhmet's skull belongs to Sekhmet.

Not that it would be much of a problem. Samson doesn't leave much room for a brain and Filia's fine without it.

Yeah but in that case I don't think Sekmet's brain should go flying out of her skull when you get hit either.

It just strikes me as being inconsistent. I know it is very nitpicky but it bugs me.

Anyway, from the latest (currently on-going) stream: servant_summon_hard

Looks like Albus appears from below to grab the opponent by the legs and pull him/her away. Lets hope for wall bounce combos.
Looks kinda like Testament's EXE Beast

I'd be surprised if she's in the BETA for May.
