Does his shirt just come off when he's blocking low? Also, I think that it's gonna be funny when people cry about female sexualization we can just point to Beowulf like nah its not just them. It's only one character but he's the only dude besides Big Band. What are they gonna do for that? BB is a giant tin can. I don't know anyone who finds that sexy.

It made more sense for an "opening a folding chair animation"

I heard somewhere that certain animations will be changed on whether Beo is holding the chair or not

I assume the belt is for when the chair is set up somewhere
Unless you want him to not be able to block when he doesn't have it in his hands

Although

You gotta have some pecs to be able to do that to say Brass Knuckles or charged Liver Mortis

I get that he's going to be switching out object used in his pushblock depending on whether or not he has a chair. I'm just curious about why Persona switched from an animation that makes sense visually (grabbing the moving parts of the chair to open it) to the other animation that didn't make much sense.

If anything Beowulf could use his leg during his crouching pushblock to prop up the chair and the animation using his belt could just have his foot pushing the large section of the belt forward while he holds onto the side bits.

I'm sure the unfolding will stick though it makes solid sense and fits his theme
 
Yeah, the unfolding is more than likely, they're just testing things. But so far his hands have stayed in pretty much the same positions dependent on if he was holding the hurting or the belt, so the animation I showed could just be placeholder for the belt because Persona only had like a half hour or so to stream.

They'll want to reuse as many animations as they can, so it makes sense there too. But if they do that for most of his moves anyways, it would be possible to have some varied versions of things as well.
 
I think it's rebel up week unless I'm mistaken. And even then, the only thing regarding Beowulf we might get at a salty as of yet, is a Voice actor announcement. And that is a big if.

Just too early for much beowulf stuff barring animation streams.

The manliness would be too much for the game, and it would crash.

Also, now that I think about it, I haven't really been playing Skullgirls that much. Probably because I've been busy getting gud with another chair-wielding grappler. Hooray for chair grapplers!
 
I haven't paid attention is Kanji better or worse in suplex thing?

I always would struggle with him so I'd just pick Narakami because he's easier.
 
Well uh yeah he's still pretty bad
But he has an easier time getting in now with the projectile invincible Persona shoulder ram I think

Also Yu is still fantastic
Not brain dead any more though

He's mostly better, but as in most ASW games, the top tiers got buffed and the bottom tiers got nerfed, so Kanji is pretty much where he is last game.
 
But that means I to press all those buttons and both my arms are broken and I am dehydrated... it soo hard.
 
I think everyone is just tired and waiting for news cause we've exhausted a pretty good amount of discussion..
