Blazblue

Ah, so though they fight as two, there moves and attacks are that of one.
Sorta like Squigly or Filia, Duo fighting with there partners/parasite right?

Yup, pretty much.

Celica's intended to be a beginner friendly character ala Ragna or Jin. She can also heal herself via a super or her OD.

Oh, so like Yukiko from Persona 4 Arena. That's awesome to hear they have a character like that in BB now n_n

She also sucks really hard so don't plan on winning.

Attack wise, Defense wise what are we talking about here?
Sorry if I sounded a bit forward but, I'm just curious to read what would make her a bad character is all n_n (Like I herd/read from somewhere that Val is mostly seen as a lower tier character because of all the scaling that could happen before her H's but, I guess this isn't the right place to go off into a SG tangent since this thread is all about BB :)

She has no good defensive options and her hurtbox is huge. She gets poked out of stuff at absurd ranges because Minerva extends Celica's hurtbox.

Oh, so she has the moves of a close up fighter like Makoto or Ragna but has the Hurtbox of someone like Tager. Sounds you really gotta think 2 steps ahead with her moves less you get poked out of your set up

Also Celica has to do a LOT of repetition in her combos to do high damage:

and I can get use to that if I ever get the game. From what I learn from playing Carl. His play style doesn't have as much repetition but, it is pretty noticeable some points
(Though that might be the same for most of the Blazblue cast, I wouldn't really know since I put most of my time into my Carl mix-ups then developing any other characters n_n")

There's Amane, Azrael and professor kokonoe.
Along with Celic that was probably already released, that makes 4 in all dude (| ‿|)

No. Amane, Azreal, Kokonoe, Kagura, Terumi, Bullet. These were all in Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma. I'm talking about the extend, the new, full price version. So far he only thing I've noticed it adding is all the previous DLC and Celica.

Oh, Sorry m8.
Had no clue they made another extension. I honestly thought Celica was another DLC character like Kokonoe

You forgot Izayoi. Just saying...

Well Makoto, Platinum, and Valkenhein were DLC for CS, but they didn't have story, couldn't be used in some modes, and were just generally exempt from many things. I consider them more of finished in CSE, onestly

oops. :(

I'd say no, considering they just separated Nu-13 into two characters.

Eh, I would say that Lambda's just different enough to count.

-Lambda lost Nu's DP but got a new air-to-ground projectile
-Lambda's drive works differently: she's forced to do the follow-up with her D moves
-I believe that their ODs are different (correct me if I'm wrong)
-Various frame data differences

Lambda is basically the Ken to Nu's Ryu. (Nu's also way better than Lambda, but Nu's amazing in this game so whatever.)

Oh, Lambda's bad? That's a shame.
Is Nu actually okay now?
I was planning on using Lambda over Nu in Extend since I used to main Lambda in CS, but if she's bad that'll be aggravating.

Nu's arguably the best character in the game right now.

Lambda (and Celica, last time I checked) is low tier. Although, both of them are at least better than Terumi.

That said, this is probably the most balanced BB since CSE, so you could probably make her work. I would like to be more specific, but truth be told, I haven't been watching CPE as closely as I have previous games.

when does this come out, again? I want it so I can get back in Blazblue after burning myself out on the original CP.

Interesting note, but it was CS that maybe me frst think of going more competitive with fighters, and CP that make me decide to invest a ton more time into actually learning hte games. I was still super casual, but I thank Blazblue for really being my gateway game into the more competitive scene, or basically my entrance into the FGC

That's a bit.. odd?
I didn't even know who he is, really, and he's playable now.
Why him? I can think of tons of other characters that would be better suited to be playable.

Hah that came out of nowhere. I vaguely remembered him from the story mode as Kagura's servant.

Would have thought someone like Mai would have been next due to that new added story. Sounds like he is gonna be a mix of a ninja with chef gimmicks based on the comments? I recall him apparently being noted fast since he acted as a foot messenger for Kagura. Guess even Extend will have dlc.

that's a shame to hear. Lambda's my main in CSE... wait, don't tell me she's low tier in CSE too! I don't want to go back to Litchi! she's too tough!

can we make Kagura better in Extend? :( I really hate how he plays...
If you mean not make him a charge character then I doubt they will change his gameplay direction this late at the stage.

Tier differences are said to be much smaller in general, so Lambda's relative position shouldn't matter too much.

2016? Already? I was expending it to be out in 2017, 2016 seems a bit early.
Either way, I dislike Remix Heart in its entirety, and I'd really dislike if Mai became playable.

The final entry will also be extended to add more characters probably. I'm not surprised in the least about Mai being playable or even Kajun/Cajun.

honestly I just want them replace Hazama and Terumi with Kazuma or something
fold their playstyles into each and just make a frankenstein of garbage

I'm hoping they keep Terumi as a standalone character who isn't in the story (like Lambda, for example), and I hope they add Kazuma to replace Hazama, simply making him a gameplay clone. I wouldn't like to alienate either Terumi or Hazama players, and I don't think their playstyles would mix well.
This was one of my hopes when I saw the end of Chronophantasma, actually. Spoilered, just in case.
While I'm angry Hazama has apparently been killed off, I hope they can find some kind of way for them to add in Kazuma, with this as an excuse, especially considering what happened to Terumi.

As long as Plat's not dead. It was so ambiguous. They couldn't possibly kill one of the 3 characters I like

I think they confirmed Plat isn't dead, but they can't access Trinity's personality anymore because of that.
