WASEDA STYLE (A1 fights B1, A2 fights B2, A3 fights B3, winners face off based on numerical order), INDIVIDUAL ROUNDS ARE 2/3 (so this will probably last 2 hours)

So yeah, bring your A game, your torrent game, and your 5 delay game.

And here I thought that was team names voted, I'm greatly disappointed

If it could not overlap SkullBats EU that could be nice. Dunno if EU players like myself will be able to play though.
 
I can easily change this to Friday or Sunday. Though I forget if people are still doing the thing with the college finals.
Edit: Changed to Friday for now. Hopefully that's good for the majority of people.

Skullbats is on Sundays. The 1v1 is on Saturdays but that's international and it probably won't matter too much if some people miss out anyway.

Misread the date while talking about it.

That explain why I miss skullbats every week for months even if I want to participate I always forget.

I work late fridays and saturdays and won't be able to make it. If it's late enough on Saturday, I may be able to take a half day to make it work.

If this changes to sunday for any reason, I'm in.

From an American point of view, do all European players count as lesser known? Do stream viewers know about Woofly and myself, for example? Either way, I can point you towards some European players for this. Thanks for organising it!

(also if you have European players on, please don't make us play against Brazilian or West Coast US players ;_; edit: Wait it's a tournament, not a showmatch thing? I guess we can't avoid laggy matches then)

This looks like I could be matched-up with players that result in 150+ ping connections, so I'll pass (7-3 match up vs lag).
 
150+ is a very playable range if the connection is stable. The thing is, both players need to set a similar ggpo range from my testings, so 150+ on ggpo 3 for both parties makes for a playable experience. It's just a matter of adapting I think. SG netcode is a godsend compared to thinks like AE/marvel (urgh, damn, marvel netcode is insanely crappy) where even local connections are very far from what the actual game is.

0-99: 0
100-139: 1
140-179: 2
180-209: 3
210+: Don't play
Is how you generally get non-skippy matches - as long as both players have a decent connection.

If you want to keep 0, up until ~160 is generally playable with not too many teleporting characters.
