The Big Band MP Song Thread

If somebody could transcribe the rift that plays here you would be my new god.

Hey guys, I really need to learn how to play the Friends theme song on Big Band's trumpet. Can anyone help me out? I really only have time for the rift that goes "so no one told me life was gonna be this way, your life's a joke, you're broke, you're love life's DOA"

So far you have only two notes in that riff since you can't do Chords with a trumpet... all A and a G, all A and C#
Since you can't do Dead Notes (X) you can try to lower the octave to avoid doing nothing between those series of A

It should be like this
|:LK:+:MK:x3|:D::LK:+:MK:x2||:LK:+:MK:x3|:D::LK:+:MK:x2|:LK:+:MK:x3|:D::LK:+:MK:x2|:D::HK: hold it for long|

I think I have it figured out:

It's a nice song; I especially like the new arrangement in the latest Smash Brothers. The rest of the song wouldn't be too hard to write up, if you'd like to have it.

@Dr. Zeus my dude, would you be able to tell me how to play the beginning part of Sweet Georgia Brown?

Throwing me in the deep end eh? :D

I think I can do it, or at least come up with something that sounds somewhat close. Do you want me start from the very beginning (with the trombone) or at the start of the trumpet stuff?

So I'm at work on a computer with no sound, that's probably not a good video because it's the elaborate version of the song and not the simple one people associate with the Harlem Globetrotters.

I can tell you the part I want specifically, which is just this (I'd only have time for the beginning in a level 5 super anyway):
Just use this one for reference, it's easier

I can probably find sheet music for you if it makes it easier. It's a song you play on the actual trumpet.

It's done!

The timing on most of these notes might feel a bit odd, but playing along with the YouTube video really helps the rhythm come together.

Yeah, no kidding. I'm can't really transpose all of the chords for you, but if you're looking for the bit that's repeated over and over again I've got you covered:

:D::HK: | :HP: | :LP:+:HP: | :MP:+:HP: x8 | :LP:+:HP: | :HP: | :MP:+:HP: | :HP:

:D::HK: | :HP: | :LP:+:HP: | :MP:+:HP: x8 | :LP:+:HP: | :HP: | :LP:

:HP: | :MP:+:HP: | :LP: x8 | :MP:+:HP: | :LP:+:HP: | :MP:+:HP: | :HP:

:D::HK: | :HP: | :LP:+:HP: | :MP:+:HP: x4 | :LP:+:HP: x3 | :MP:+:HP: | :LP:+:HP: | :HP: x5

It's actually pretty easy to play, just keep holding down :HP: when playing the :MP:+:HP:s and :LP:+:HP:s. Pressing either :MP: or :LP: will trigger the new note, and that way you don't have to worry about pressing the buttons at exactly the same time over and over again!

Edited for readability.
Edit 2: You can change the :D: inputs to normal and the normal inputs to :U: and you'll get the same melody, but in a higher octave!

The first note is in the normal scale, you have press up from the second note and on.

Tried to play it the way it's writed right now and ended up playing the game of thrones intro theme by accident lol.

Here is the short segment i managed to play

Huh, I guess my inputs are all an octave down from the youtube video. The notes are still correct, though, so whether you play it high or low it should have the proper melody!

Could anyone do the bit starting from 2:06? Should be fairly simple I think.
He has a Q palette and parries, I just need to know how to do this.

I sometimes play this after winning a match

Only transcripted 0:03-0:06 and didn't include the last 2 notes because there's only enough time to play the notes I transcripted after a match finishes, otherwise you'll have to miss the tempo and play too fast.

What programm are you guys using to record your stuff? The only one I got is incapable of recording audio.

I transcripted the Indiana Jones theme and am trying to do the Forest maze from Super Mario RPG.
