Double Beta Combos/Tech Thread

This was the best universal combo I've seen and is going to be my beta bnb. Credits to @Beamsprouts
Yeah, fridge link is tough on some people, but definitely doable. Dash > s.MP isn't too hard after a bit of practice. Definitely a high execution combo, but still reliable with the exception of Double mirrors. Her weight is y

The universal slide bnb is a lot easier and does more damage

To add to this:
The monster bnbs are also universal and deal more damage, deal more damage early in the combo, have less obvious reset points, can be done anywhere, switch sides super easily, and have the option to spend another meter to deal more damage.

also is the best confirm off of CH cr.hp/s.hp, bc of its multiple heavies early on in the combo.

I was trying these with the combo cloudking posted a while back, but I was having trouble with lighter characters (mostly squigly) going over the pool and not getting hit by monster. I was also having trouble with landing s.hk on the heavier characters, although this isn't a problem in the combo gllt just posted. If I can solve the "characters flying over puddle" problem then yes, there is no reason to not use slide loops.

At the moment I'm finding the timings for the tk fridge combo to be a lot easier after some practice.
 
2HP Cilia + DP assist is neat.


If you like Fridge (my personal favorite) or need a universal

dash OTG 2MP 2HP Step
works as well if you're into the slide/step route.

backdash before doing the second cr.hp - cilia slide and it will work on those lights that it dropped on normally (damn puddle change)

you can also just go into the cMP cHP on the OTG and go into sev's CH route.

edit: nvm i'm dumb, i thought he was referring to the bait conversion not the other stuff you'd come up with.

THIS is a BnB? I been practicing this for awile and I still can't get it down. I haven't really done much with other character's BnB's, but are they all this ridiculous?

For perspective, this is an optimized BnB for damage, not taking into account the difficulty. This BnB does use a lot of Double's combo mechanics that take practice to execute reliably (linking s.MK off of Flesh Step and using Cilia Slide). Rest assured, there are plenty of easier ones, you just sacrifice damage. If you don't know how to do Barrel Loops, they are the best beginner Double combo! Here:

c.LK s.MKx2 s.HK /\
j.LP j.MK j.HK xx MK Item Crash \/ (this is the barrel where it gets its name!)
s.LK (the s.LK is a 5 frame link I believe, and the hardest part of the combo) s.MKx2 s.HK /\
j.LK(1 hit) j.MK j.HK xx MK Item Crash \/ (another barrel! almost like you're LOOPING it!)
s.LPx2 s.MKx2 c.HP xx HK Hornet Bomber xx Bandwagon Rushdown

This is a great beginner combo because it works without OTG, works off her grab, and is universal with the exception of Big Band. If you have any questions of want something else, feel free to ask. c:

Everything there should still work in the Beta version of the game. Double is a great free style combo character since she isn't overly reliant on OTGs, so learn some of her basic patterns and you'll be able to effectively combo with her in no time.

Thanks a ton! I kinda just fell into maining Double and all this really helps! I was practicing the BnB but god I can't get that timing down. These really help (and were mostly what I was already kinda doing XD)
