Been playing.
Mad fun.

Made a thread about it when it was first announced, didn't go anywhere but this is a good replacement.
In the beta, but can't quite play it.
Enjoyed what I played though

Should add eachother =D Also I wrote a Nova guide! Never did so before, so leme know what you think =3

My thoughts
  • Disagree with Remote Delivery. If you plan on tricking people, you should be using Holo Decoy pretty much where you are so the range kinda doesn't matter. The cooldown is incredibly outshined by both Gathering Power and Envenom. 2s cooldown is nothing compared to the possible +15% ability damage.
  • Highly disagree with "One in the chamber". Anti-Armor Shells is so incredibly overwhelming that I think that it should be part of Nova's trait. If you plan on building bursty Nova, Anti Armor Shells is a MUST.
  • Also, Crippling Shot over Double Fake. I mean, you may even get 25% extra damage on Decoy, that will probably miss their snipes, OR you can get guaranteed extra 25% on everything + 20% extra from Snipe + 2.5x autoattack damage + 25% regular damage from Holo Decoy + possible 15% extra on everything because or gathering power OR + envenom, that is pretty strong at the moment.
  • Holo Decoy > Pinning Shot > Snipe > Autoattack wrecks anyone that is not full tanky. If you plan on killing a tanky character, just confuse him with Holo Decoy and sometimes poke him with Snipe from a safe range.
  • edit: About triple tap x precision strike, I think that it's too situational. I usually pick Triple Tap when they have too many ranged heroes, and Precision Strike when they have too many tanky characters (zoning tool, aoe damage...) OR it's Mines (you need extra map presence)
Also, Nova is a weak character that has only pub stomping capacity. She's incredibly fun and by no means I'm saying that you should stop playing her. I just think that there are better characters that do the same thing in a better way (aka Zeratul).

I've used Remote Delivery to garner kills for our team when the foe(s) was too far for us to attack or each, specially with their use of Pinning Shot and Snipe. Why I bring it along with my kit. i also use it to scout some areas, specially with poi, and to cancel channeling of events, like turning in coins. I can be safely away without them knowing how far, and harass em with a clone. Sometimes it's cool down is fast enough to force them off the point again.

I've had plenty of bad experiances with Anti-Armour to the point I'd rather not take the slowdown in firing =\ I know it's good, but it doesn't fit my playstyle and the way I play this kit.

I always go with the standard Ambush Snipe > Gathering Power > Anti-Armor Rounds > Precision Strike > Lethal Decoy > Double Fake > Rewind build. Though the 13 and 16 talents are pretty flexible.

Also, swear to god, no one can see cloaked characters in QM. I get away with murder when I play Nova in QM. Still prefer Valla as my ranged assassin though. The multishot build is too fun.

Agreed. i end up sniping cloaked units more often than my team trying too. Had this one match where an Enemy Nova was trying to get to the Sun statue location on that Dragon map. I was chasing her shimmer and since everything but Precision Strike was on Cool Down, I fired it in her path. She turned around and left the area. My team mate goes "Nice Ult..."

yeah, I just saved you a freaking head ache...

edit: Oh yeah. Deleting people is fun -

What's really funny are the people playing cloak characters that assume no one can see them. I've been accused of hacking more than once because of that crap.

Then again, I've been accused of hacking for a lot of stuff.

I don't like Valla. She seems... too easy. I don't even put effort on playing her and when I check, I'm the top siege damage and hero damage from the team.

Also, I've been trying to get Jaina to lvl 10, and I was planing on buying her master skin, but now I just don't feel like playing her anymore. Ring of frost is a ultimate that more often feels like a waste, and water elemental dies too fast. She doesn't have burst damage enough to compete with other assassins and her ~keepaway~ build is meh.
She does have burst damage once you get Icy Veins, but sometimes you can't get it because of some Illidans/that kind of hero that will follow and dive you until you die, so you need to get Sprint on those cases, and sometimes even Bolt, and you lose a lot of damage because of this. Root helps, but damn, it doesn't even matter if you can't hit them/they have 30000 movement options, no resource cost and low cooldown on them.
She is pretty decent besides these things, tho.

Yeah, alot of people complaining on the closed beta forums about Illidans... He is stupid good...

I think Jaina's ment for Team CC, as when things get icey for the other team, she can use her AoE slow skill to pretty much get the team to catch up to the target(s). This is a personal opinion, as I've never played her. Just stating how I felt when attacked by her.

Eh, Illidan's big strength is the fact that the meta right now is double support. Illidan with a metamorphosis build and 2 supports is a blender. Especially with Rehgar.

Once I hit level 100 in WoW (and get a sweet wolf mount), I might come back to Heroes, depending on the frame rate of other maps.
It was playable FPS, yeah,it's just that I got scared of fighting over people, mostly.

I haven't had nearly as many frame rate issues since the last patch or 2. Players are still sometimes pants-on-head retarded, but that's the genre standard

Well it's more because I'm on dated hardware, got an Nvidia Geforce 6150SE, and yet Heroes still played.
Only really had game lagging FPS issues on Blackheart Bay, and now with the Eternal Conflict it's only a 1/7 chance of getting that map

Welp, I'm shocked. It seems that Dementia plays HotS, and I managed to get him on my team. He's a bitch in HotS too.

Hahaha, well that's good to know?

I really do hope I can play Heroes, I actually worried myself into a headache over shit like this.
Since apparently Heroes can crash your computer at some point.
Comps as old as 2009, and it worked in the Alpha, but I dunno, probably overreacting.
Whats the general consensus on how Heroes works with lower end computers?

Is Anub'arak in yet? Otherwise I might pick it up...

If you care about tiers, Chen and Anub are both kinda low. I mean, they're not Stitches level bad, but both of them need a little boost. Anub is kinda squishy, though he's plenty disruptive. Chen just has poor peeling abilities other than one of his heroics.

I frankly don't care how low tier or high tier a char is, I'm gonna play this game for fun. and if I enjoy the character and/or how they play I'll still play them.

Anub is pretty fine. Chen sucks.
At least Stitches is not top tier anymore.

I like how there's exact prices for Heroes, it's just that I don't like how a majority of them are $10
I mean, for $10 in League you get $3 left over to save for something.

I'll probably buy ETC with $4 and work with him and if the frame rate still works get a starter pack or something.

ETC is 2k, dude.
Do 3 quests (sometimes even less) and you get him.

>Installs Heroes, ready to try it
>Goes to Try Chen
>Everythings all Buggy squares
>Closes, opens again
>Everything's all buggy squares

Well, I can at least say I tried.
>Uninstalls.
