Peacock Combo Thread

Although maybe also post the midscreen 1 bar combo you came up with?
That's a good bit harder and not fully universal though, I'd rather have this one I think.

So after the patch drops I'm updating the BnB thread and I'd like to hear your opinions on these:

midscreen ~9k:

s.lp, c.mk, c.hp, s.hk, M Shadow of Impending Doom,
dash, s.lp, s.mp, s.mk,

corner ~9k/~10.7k

This combo is pretty nice! Should be in OP, methinks.
 
Pretty cool! I was actually wondering earlier today if Peacock could do any cool combos using that assist.
 
@Chuck N. Plazma something to watch out for with that combo is that it does not work if the opponent is crouching initially. The beam goes over them and whiffs. Something you can do instead that works whether they're crouching or standing is c.LP c.MK c.HP s.HK xx M item, dash s.LP s.HP + call Robo Fortune + M item then do whatever. Really anything works as long as you launch them then restand them, but that was the easiest thing I could find that worked.

Also here's something stupid I found while I was messing around in training mode:

I did this one last month, does something like 12.5 damage for 3 meter? This is a somewhat old video, I need to find the time to make new ones with new stuff but here, but best I post something than nothing I s'pose.

I'm pretty sure I can make it better

Got an old corner combo that was a ToD for 3 meters, don't think it does the same due to damage nerfs but yeah


EDIT: Just tried it out in beta, only does about 12.6k lol

Corner i'm getting 10k with 2 meters and 8.6k flat with 1 meter. With HK Bomber assist.

Also I need some midscreen stuff I can't even get to 7k midscreen haha. No assist extension though because HK bomber, unless some wild midscreen shit exists outside of setting up SoID argus stuff.

Corner you can get something like 8.6-9k damage for 1 bar and no assist. Don't think it works on Double/BB/Robo though.

Word in the corner I took the combo you did in your old tod video and I was able to get 8.6k with 1 meter and 10k with 2. I'll hit up these corner jaunts. Thanks!!

Do you? I am pretty sure if you start a combo with level 2 item drop you can combo with s.LP s.MP c.MK c.HP s.HK xx item drop. The item drop should be off cooldown by the time you wanna do the next one as long as you delay the s.LP a bit.

I like literally do this all the time. And with an assist thrown in there the timing is even easier.

Even c.MK>c.HP>s.HK xx item drop is enough for level 2 item drop to be off cooldown without any delay.

Using MP item drop instead of HP should work just fine in most cases.

Ideally you want to start dashing as soon as you can but doesn't have to be frame perfect.

So I'm going to need a little help from @mcpeanuts @Swiftfox-Dash @Mr Peck and any other peacock willing to contribute.

I noticed that a few fighting games have character specific combo videos that are great assets to learn from when trying to jump into the game. Whenever I begin learning a new fighting game, I often find myself searching on youtube for a specific character and combos they can do for a lot of openers and situations they find themselves in.

I'm going to be making some of these, starting with Peacock. I have most of the ground work for what I want in it, but need a few more things covered.

- What are optimal/typical combos you do off an air throw? I have my own but they all use assists pretty much
- Any assist specific combos you think should show up?
- Any character specific combos you think I don't already know?
- Any combos that aren't necessarily optimal in terms of damage, but have a lot of great reset points?
- Anything else you think should be included? I have most typical midscreen/corner stuff covered.

Atleast your Parasoul combo is most likely better than my complexverytimingbased Double combo that costs 1 meter and only does 6,9k damage.

I’ve been wanting something with her that ended in a stagger, but yeah, everything after that isn’t really part of the same combo.
 
I use stagger into lenny into showstopper dhc, does that count?
 
None of that involves a throw. I was agreeing with Isa and should have clarified that I was speaking about Balk’s post specifically.

Midscreen assist kill with Peacock without SoID thing or without assists.

Doesn't work on Parasoul so far, but it's easist on Eliza.
