Maybe we should ask Justin Wong to help spread the word. Doesn't he like Skullgirls?

I think a time extension would be fair, though, considering that the EU version of the PS4 prototype will be available at a very late point in the campaign.

Oh, I made a post of that thread with a like. So Adding to the pile of "see this" while giving info about the crossover chars.

I really hope that we can at least make that extension goal. does anyone know what percent we need for the extension?
when did they mention an extension goal? And what's in the goal exactly?

It wouldn't hurt at this point. Might as well light the fire under their asses sooner while there is still time rather then later since it's inevitable. It would get more people to contribute right away for the sake of the immediate short term extension goal [185,998 away currently is a much more comfortable/doable/morale boosting sight compared to over 700k away still] rather then well past the extension deadline where it decreases the campaign success rate/feel of hope considerably.

If more of the backers were aware of this 900k before the deadline then it becomes doable and might end up having more then the 900k benchmark before deadline thanks to the desperation momentum. Which just makes hitting the 1.5 million goal that much easier since we got more days + final rush to work with >600k left

I really hope they consider the extension a valid option and don't take the risk of making the goal in those 3 days if it's avoidable. Considering that IGG pays out as soon as the goal is hit, they don't even have to wait for the full 20 days to be over in order to start development.

And at the rate they're going right now (mostly thanks to the guest characters), the extension would take us on course to get funded safely. If they actually announce further guest characters (Shantae was considered I believe, maybe Undertale) during the extension, that and the EU PS4 prototype would easily hit the goal in time. Easily.

Of course I'd like to see the goal being met without extension, but as I said that's a big risk. What would theoretically speak against taking the extension just to be safe?

The argument against the extension is that is 20 more days of unemployment/being unpaid/could have went to something else. They originally shot for 40 days. If they could have afford more days then why not do 60 days to begin with? There is also the argument that even if 900k was barely made in time of the extension that would just 'delay the inevitable' where 600k in roughly 3 weeks is still too far depending if the rate per day crashes considerably. Besides that can't think of anything else. I don't think there is a penalty/fee cost for IGG extension that would have to increase the 1.5 mil goal

I think they expected the funding to go better than it is right now.

I'm sure everyone knows that the 20 more days of "unemployment/being unpaid/could have went to something else" is well worth it. And I would say inevitable doesn't exists here because I have utter faith in the goal being reached if the extension were to happen. Realistically though, the 20 days will give time for more announcements and time for the campaign to continue to spread. I don't know if there are more announcements planned for the extension, but again I have faith.

At the beginning of the campaign Mike said something about Lab Zero having studied past campaigns and determined that 40 days seemed to raise the largest amounts.

I know 20 days of unenployment is scary, but it's that or more and no project, and if the extension was to happen and the goal reached before the end that would be even less. Still a pain but less, so I think ot would make sense

Hopefully he puts the IGG link somewhere otherwise it wouldn't be nearly as effective. If not a lot of us should lurk in the chat and post links. Does the chat auto ban the links?

yeah it does take out links but no auto bans

Does he look at chat a lot? Could try and remind him to put a link up if he doesn't already.

He looks at the chat, but he has a lot of subscribers, so it is easy to miss things, people normally donate if they have something to say.

I'm more worried about his friends, in special steve and simmons, Kenny is super positive, but the other 2 normally talk a lot.

Reading Max's Stream Chat is like this

"WHAT?.... W-WHUB-WHAT?!?!?!?!"

Some of the greatest stupid comes from there. But hey We gotta dive in there and help stop the spread of lies, misinformation, and plain old meanness about this game and Lab Zero.

TOGETHER WE CAN RULE THIS NIGHT! WHO WILL STAND WITH ME?!

lol that poor kitty XD
To be honest I've been waiting to use that gif for a long time now.

Edit: Ripped from the Chat on stream right now

  • Cannibalus: The real reason indivisible is getting played now is because Max saw "How Matt saved Skullgirls" and wants "How Max saved Indivisible" made
Wonderful... just... roll the kitty gif pls.

The good side is, a lot of Max fans are also SG fans.

The bad side is, a lot of Max fans are SG haters. :/

Don't be so worried. Haters can only spit shit, but people that are smart enough to have their own opinion instead of listening to all the misinformation will give the game a chance, haters or not.

There are a few thousands viewers, but you can't put links. There is only one mod that semi regularly throws a link pasta. Discussion is also rarely about Indivisible and it's more about Capcom/SFV in general. That said studying the growth since stream began there were likely more people that donated to Max's stream rather then Indivisible itself lol

And it's just Simmons playing it with a glazed over look while Kenny and Max talk about SF5.

Perfect.

It's rude in my books. They've stopped talking about SF5 now though and they're going for the Secret Boss.

Hm. Based on attitudes, looks like we need this extension for publicity reasons, too. A lot of people are detracting from it or showing reluctance because they don't know about the extension possibility and thus think "looks like it's a goner". If it gets pushed such that that apparent fact goes away, we'll have more morale to work with. We just need to keep up the pressure.

What kind of link is that? XD
What do you mean? Also, do we need to reach 900k this Tuesday? Or Wednesday?

Well, not an avid user of Twitch, so I don't really know if you can leave one or two messages on their profile. In any case, they have played Shovel Knight, so it would be worth a shot to simply point them in the Indivisible direction.
