Beowulf Combos

A corner combo I've created and started using in match. Lots of variation to it to suit the situation. Also there is away to end the corner combo with grendal killa and leave your opponent in the corner.

That's pretty neat, actually.

I noticed there's no crowd noise during his Lv3, then I saw the XBox notification in the video ;_; don't despair, Robo patch is coming on the 31st!
 
A slight variation on the wulfshoot BnB but I got some inspiration from an old betawulf combo.
Thought I would see if you can work it into some of his normal stuff. This is slightly un-optimized you can probably squeeze out a little more damage but meh this isn't too difficult to do. Works on everyone but the heavies and should work mid-screen.

Been playing with rush punch with robo before and now beowulf and I got some fun combos, Nvm they dont all require chair.
First one was inspired by three things. the 8.2k bnb, rush punch + gigantic arm, j.hk b/c i rarely see it.

The special thing about this combo is that you are using j.hk to position the enemy into brass knuckles. This one isn't too hard to pull off.

This combo does about 8.9k, uses big band assist, uses one meter. Whatever characters the 8.2k bnb works on, this one should too.

Next is a corner combo off a grab, using rush punch, otg and one meter. Special thing about this one is that it uses press slam or f/b punch avoiding the scaling when going through the headbutts or knees. Theoretically this one should be around 6.5-6.6k. I haven't actually executed this one because I'm failing to Air wulf after 3 blitzers. So this one is iffy until I actually execute this one. Also only tested on Parasoul...might be a parasoul/eliza only because
j.mk->j.hp, j.mp->j.hp might be only possible on her I don't know.
Forgive me for not fully testing this one yet, but converting off press slam is cool

And when you start the game with cr.hp, with rush punch and one meter. This one does much less damage than the others, but at least you can convert from cr.hp with it especially if they decided to jump forward.

I was wondering why the rush punch was able to hit. Turns out big Band just pushes Filia if you call him just before it determines which slam you're doing.

I'm doing the second one and it definitely works on Eliza. Weird thing happening is that I'm somehow crossing over sometimes when I hop. It never happened with Filia though.

I found some of this hot Beo/Peacock/Bella stuff from a Japan player on Twitter. Name's Namasomi. While I'm not playing atm and for awhile, thought y'all would like this.
It gets pretty sick. The damage is disgusting.

(eh this was made for Lythero; the guy is looking into getting into SG with a Beo/Robo team, this was made to help him... learn the power of these two.)
 
Finish off the counter hit combo video. Still think there is ways to squeeze more damage out (got 8k meterless) but this is working fine for me at.

Next upload I'll cover the fuzzy guard beowulf has.
 
You know Knee does more damage than Headbutt, right?
Yeah but muscle memory [emoji24] Iam a sucker for Meter Gain.
I already recorded the combos befor I realised I should of done my bad.

Knees add 40 damage to the total damage of the combo for each headbutt replaced by knees.
 
Because of talking about A-Train in the team building thread and having seen someone use it with beowulf I decided to try making some combos with it and they hurt. I'll make a video on it later. Special notes in the spoilers.


This is a near corner combo. Needs chair. Meterless. uses otg at the end. It requires wall bounce caused by s.hk. It works only on lights due to chairless cr.hp missing. This does 8.9k. Theres no real reason to use this one over the one below unless you're not close enough to the corner.

This is a midscreen that needs to carry the enemy to the corner. It will not work if the enemy isn't close enough to the corner. It works on everyone except double. It is tighter on Big Band due to hop,j.mp. Needs chair, uses otg at the end, meterless. This does about 8.8k. Essentially is the same as the one above, but more versatile.

Just wanna point out that in 2v1 you're at 1.3 times damage, not 1.0.
The midscreen (with changed moves for more damage) does 8612, not 11,300.
Still really good, just not what is indicated by your video. :^)

Actually I put the info of the combos in a different spoiler but didn't make one about the midscreen one. Only put info about the first two combos. But yeah thanks! I'll make one now!

If you do my midscreenish combo in the corner with H brass, you will get about 8.4K.

Here is a simple midscreen, it looks pretty much the same as one of the bnb in the compendium. Just tacking on H brass. Does 8.3k. Meterless. Incredibly hard to make it work on Double.

Special notes on Double and Big Band: For the 2nd last chain, it may be better to just do cr.lp instead of s.lp and s.lk.

Atm I only have this corner combo which is pretty universal. I've got a fuzzy gaurd vid I have yet to edit. Once I do that I guess I should add a bnb video to the playlist.

The OP is pretty clean and organized, and I just updated it with some simple blitzer combos. Let me know if you need more than that.

The first post in this thread should have all the combos you need, just keep in mind that in Skullgirls is very important to be able to improvise and adapt your combos considering IPS, undizzy and character weight. The combos there should give you enough tools and options to do that.

Also basic oki: canis major press for knockdown, call assist and jump over j.hp/j.lk. Cross up is timing dependant.

Beowulf is pretty hard already. He's 270 pounds of folded steel. I don't know how much harder you can get.

Yeah, not even Big Band can weaken him.
Big Band's jet fuel can't melt Beowulf's steel beams

That has been in the OP since the thread was made, are you actually looking for something specific that's not there?

Does this work on everyone? I thought that chairless c.HP > j.LK j.HK only worked on lights.
