since you are on ps4, you need to have skype since you can't get in the ps3 chat. need a reliable way to inform you of what's going on.

The pools for Skullgirls is happening 12-4pmEST, so there's a good 4 hours 'till Skullbats that day, while top 8 is happening 6-8pmEST on Sunday. But I'm participating in SJ9 so I won't be in Skullbats that weekend, but the week after that, expect to see me there.

Is SkullBats Beginner-Friendly?

Is SkullBats Beginner-Friendly?

It's very beginner friendly! If you're having trouble with any part of the game, there are several good players that compete every week that will be tripping over themselves just to help you improve.

This Skullbats is the first one where we decided to run a Tag-Team tournament.

Congratulations to OneGunClip and ituzz2z_56 for taking first place, followed by Magma445 and Flipnote_turbo tying with Me and Shaky for second!

Cool, didn't know if it was going last weekend. Should be able to join this weekend & do a little better than last time.
Hopefully I'll have a decent connection with someone. It's been tricky finding PS3 people lately.

It goes on every week unless there is a skullgirls major tournament going on at the same time or if less than 5 people show up. If you are on ps3, I do forget to check the ps3 chat since now adays people are either in the skype chat or ps4 chat. I apologize if I miss you, but do try your best to contact me if you want to join. I'm always on skype, I check skullheart a decent amount, and you can always send me a msg on psn just know skype is the best way to contact me.

Since no one goes back and reread the first post, re-posting so people know what the rules are

How it works
Rules: It is swiss system with each round best 3 out of 5. Swiss system is a tournament style that uses rounds instead of elimination. We usually hold 4-5 rounds. Each round you play someone until one of you wins 3 times. Next, you tell me the score andWAIT for everyone else to finish there matches. If you lost you are by no means eliminated from the tournament, it just means you didn't win round 1. You simply wait for round 2 to start so you can fight your next opponent. Repeat the process until all rounds are complete. If for some reason you are unable to fight your opponent I report it as a tie. If your opponent is ready and you are late to start, you have 5min before I disqualify you.

How to join
Skullbats starts at 8pmest on Saturday. We have a Skype chat and a PSN chat. If you have skype, PLEASE use it. the psn chat is mainly there for people who don't have the luxury of having a computer in the same room as there ps3 and for those who lack a computer. Skype allows me to link everyone to the bracket and is just down right easier to manage everyone. Anyway be in one of the chats BEFOREI finalize the bracket otherwise you can't join. I sometimes start the tourney as late as 8:30pmest so you may still have time but please try to be punctual AND PLEASE DO NOT ASK AT 9PMEST IF I STARTED ALREADY.

After we finish, you are welcome to ask anyone for advice. If you want specifically my help, you definitely need to have skype as it is much easier.
