Beast's Fury is now cancel

You think furries will think we're the bad guys? The "creator"'s backpedaling surely must have convinced everyone what an incompetent developer he is.
I was mostly making a joke, were Furries even looking forward to this? Because I honestly think they deserve better.

Beast's Fury honestly always seemed like it was trying to pander to furries for EZ money to me and when that didn't work they went to every other avenue they could to get cash and promos.
Furries are too good for this swill, imo

Even though furries don't appeal to me at all, they didn't deserve this shittery.

Everyone should just go on his social media accounts and call him a pizza

Cuz he's a pizza-shit

No but seriously I really wonder what was and currently is going through that guy's mind when he fucks with and scams people like that then pretty much says "I'm keeping most of it Fuck you"

Wow, even Woofle was almost involved in this. That makes around four major contractors from Freedom Planet's development that were frustrated with Ryhan. I guess as far as the "furry" gamedev community is concerned, FP really did end up being the upside to Beast Fury's downside. Shows what a difference the right planning and attitude can make, even with less crowdfunding behind you.

I'm glad there are also still games like Fightin' Herds, Pocket Rumble, and Combat Core on the horizon that'll hopefully contrast with this fiasco, and remind gamers of the potential from crowdfunded FG development. Skullgirls and Yatagarasu didn't need to sit alone on that island forever.

From the Beast Fury Situation part 2 video's comment section:

Beasts Fury: "I understand you are angry a lot of people are i would be to for what has happened with the Beast's Fury Project. The MikeZ situation he never actually offered to help he just gave honest advice on how to fix some things wrong with Beast's Fury and we did take his advice it actually helped us. At that time. I know the way i responded was extremely unprofessional and i wish i could take it back. My goal right now is to pay everyone back and release all the Beast's Fury Assets to the community. Again i am not hiding or running i want to fix this."

Okay... I'm going to ask him HOW he is going to release the assets of the game to everyone and even if he has permission from everyone who worked on the game to do so. God forbid one of the animators DOESN'T want their work being released like this when many of them haven't been payed in full yet.

or you know this could all be a huge waste of time. Sigh...

What really puzzles me is why so much faith was put in this guy in the first place.

Why on earth did a bunch of people with actual talent and experience allow a classic "idea guy" with no experience or professionalism lead them, even when he was constantly sending red flags with his behavior and choices?

because people either

1. ignorant of the things he did
2. Don't care what he did (but they also don't tell anyone of what he did)
3. just plain stupid to the point where they are willing to throw money at anything that falls within their preferences. (sorry but it's true there are stupid people out there in the world and they will be taken advantage of)

and worst of all:
4. They gave the guy the benefit of the doubt.

I'd never heard of him before this stuff all happened. It's probably a combination of things. A good idea plus enough shown to get people interested plus the furry community will give things the benefit of the doubt.

Thinking about it it was either pretty well calculated at the worst and just bound to be a fuck up at the best.

Though, even if he's sincere he's fucked himself from anybody giving him a chance from now on.

So his career potential is just as sunk as the guy who made Chronicle and got saddled with Fantastic Four 2015?
Because that dude fucking lost a chance to direct Star Wars.

I never understood why people had faith in this project in the first place. The endgame for the project wasn't even a game. They wanted money to make a demo that they can shop around to publishers. There was no guarantee that the game would come to fruition even if they completed the demo with the money they got from their first campaign. That's a huge red flag right there.
