Hello! It's been a while since NYC has had a local Skullgirls tournament, so I'll be hosting one on April 30th! We will also be running a Street Fighter 5 Tournament after the Skullgirls tournament.
I hope to see everyone from the City here, and maybe people from out of state too!

12:00PM: Doors Open. All registration begin.
02:00PM: Skullgirls Registration Closes
02:15PM: Skullgirls Bracket Begins
5:30PM: Street Fighter 5 registration closes
6:00PM: Street Fighter 5 bracket begins.
10:00PM: Venue Closes (Will stay open a bit longer if needed)

Venue fee: $10
Spectator Fee: $5

Entry fee for Street Fighter 5: $5
Sticks are $3 and Pads are $2 if you need to rent one.

Tournament Rules
Skullgirls
- Matches must be played in TOURNAMENT MODE.
- Matches are all 3/5 !!!!
- The loser of a game may switch characters or assists, but the winner is character and assist locked.
- If you play 1v1, winning the 2/3 rounds is the same as winning 1 game.
- You are responsible for deleting any wireless controller synced to the console. In the event that your match is interrupted because someone else hit the home button, you will need to replay that match.
Street Fighter 5
- Matches are 2/3 games until Winners Finals/Losers Finals/Grand Finals/True Finals, which are 3/5.
- The loser of a game may switch characters, but the winner is character locked.
- You are responsible for deleting any wireless controller synced to the console. In the event that your match is interrupted because someone else hit the home button, you will need to replay that match.

1) I don’t think I'm good enough. Should I still participate?
We encourage everyone to participate, regardless of skill level. You'll only get better by practicing! If space allows, we’ll have some consoles available for friendly matches.
2) If I'm participating in the tournament, do I also need to pay the venue fee?
Yes, you do. The tournament fee goes to the pool, while the venue fee goes to paying the owner of the event space.
3) I don't live in the New York City area. What can I do?
You can share this event!
4) How do I get there/what trains pass near there?
The F train will leave you 5 minutes walking distance from the east broadway stop
The B/D at the grand st stop is about a 7 minute walk
The A/C/N/Q/6 trains will also leave you about 15 minutes from the venue, but easily walkable.
Google maps will show you what the venue looks like!
5) What is in the area?
There is plenty of food in the area. If you enjoy asian food, you can get chinese, thai, vietnamese very easily. Little Italy is also just a few blocks away. There are also multiple dollar dumpling joints, chinese bakeries, and bubble tea available within a 3 block radius.
I hope to see everyone from the City here, and maybe people from out of state too!
