Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

If Qadira just straight-up had the voice of Mulan

That would be the best.

Waaah i love it *o*

yeah it's a solid tune. one that makes you feel like you're deep in the rainforest looking thru ancient ruins

The music is pretty good and that one still image looks really good. The sprites look like the really fit in the world now.

I agree, something that's really cool about the image is that the BG in the scene is still made using mostly BG pieces we've already seen from other screenshots. However, the way they've combined the pieces, along with the new lighting and shadow effects, creates a very different look and feel with them. It makes me really excited to see how the other new environments will turn out when everything comes together.

So that forest is on the same part of the world than where the prototype takes place, right ?
I mean it uses similar assets and the music kinda sounds similar instruments wise so...

yup. That is what i'm guessing too. That this will be super early in Ajna's story where she's learning about her powers and is exploring the ancient ruins just outside of her village.

This theme plays while Ajna explores the jungle and ruins surrounding her hometown.
Right on the video.

Right on the video.

My bad, that's what i get for not reading video descriptions

stating the game is a masterpiece before it's even finished....

please don't do that. I understand the likelyhood of Lab Zero messing up this game are very slim, it doesn't excuse the fact that you can't judge something as amazing before it's even done.
gameplaywise I'd agree with you. But I am a wee bit worried about how the plot will turn out. The plotlines and dialogues in skullgirls were allright, especially considering the restrictions that come with writing for a fighting game. It was fun and silly for the most part and had its occasional somber moments, but I just have no Idea if the L0-team can pull off strong enough writing for a full rpg.

As long as Ajna and friends aren't all amnesiac kids from the same orphanage, trained to fight a sorceress from the future, we'll be okay.
Godfuckingdamnit

As long as it gets the job done, isnt full of weird inconsistencies and idiot ball moments cough cough Fire Emblem Fates it'll be good to me.

I mean the tidbits of plot we got so far doesn't sound particulary original but it sounds good and honestly makes me quite interested! Interested to see how some of the rpg tropes the game seem to use will be used in the actual game (ie ajna's village destroyed, evil god hits Earth and corrupts people)

I'm pretty confident it'll turn out nice though

So did lab0 already hire the animators they want or are they still looking over applications? Anyone know?

Yeah, we've filled all of the animation and VFX contractor positions for now.

That's a cool print.

Heruka's always looked beastly, but giving the form it's own weapons too will be like the icing on the cake. I wonder if that might be connected to how Ajna uses abilities like the exploding arrows?

Also, it looks like campaign pace has slowed down a lot since we hit the VO goal. It's probably going to take some hype updates to really pick that back up.

That's one sweet print for sure, i love it !
Heruka Ajna has such a cool design, i love seeing her.

Also that's Baozhai between Roti and Razmi right ?

Thread is dead so I might as well voice this, I get kinda itchy every time I look at Heruka Ajna because it looks really uncomfortable for both the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet to be gold/yellow stuff-plated. I wonder how she manages that. It looks painful.

Music Monday continues

Dhar Looks like he has the Alpha Patroklos stance from Soul calibur 5. I'm all for that if its true. That style would fit his personality well.

Well i mean when you have a third eye and big fangs appearing on you among other things plated palms seem like a rather minor addition to your body. :^)
Also pretty great track! I love it
Realizing we got our first peek at Dhar's sprite too, i kinda like that stance.

Oh my, I didn't realize Dhar's sword would be so... big...

He looks like a big nerd now that i realize about it.
He kinda feels like a tryhard :p

I got this at my last Anime Convention. Now I can fight with out holding back!

Looking at that screenshot with the new team members, the first thing that came to my mind was, "Holy crap, Phoebe's gonna be huuuge!"

On that note, it seems as if the characters' battle positions might even have been shifted slightly for that reason.

For those extra large pancakes.
It sure does look great for the ones that are EXTRA T H I C C
