WE GOT NEWS MY BOYS!!!


  • New Ultra Beasts: UB Burst and UB Assembly. Burst is in Sun, Assembly in Moon. This is the first time a brand spanking new pokemon has been introduced mid generation.
  • Necrozma seems to be the antagonist this time around, absorbing the mascot pokemon of the version you get. In Sun it becomes Necrozma Dusk Mane form and in Moon it becomes Necrozma Dawn Wings form.
  • All 3 lycanroc forms have access to a new Z move, Splintered Stoneshards. Using it will destroy any terrain currently on the field
  • If you get Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver on the nintendo E shop, you can get a celebi to your Sun, Moon, U.Sun or U.Moon games.
  • The Rockruff pokemon in the event can only evolve into Dusk form.
  • A shiny Silvally event has been announced as a pre-order bonus in Japan, no international version yet, stay tuned.

  • The video description and text that appears between scenes is "There certainly is an omen of darkness. This is no longer the Alola you know.
  • Kukui: "Yeah! Long ago, when Alola was shrouded in darkness... It's said that the people and Pokemon of Alola extinguished the darkness with light."
  • Burnett: "It appears that extremely rarely, holes open up in the skies above Alola.
  • The guy in the suit with the blue mustache is named Shionira. I'm not sure how that's romanized, but it's a species of sea grass.
  • Shionira: "The Pokemon that controls light, Necrozma... Does it intend to steal Alola's light!?"
  • Guzma: "Drawing out the best in your opponent draws out the best in you... right?"
  • Gladion: "If mother were to disappear as well...!"
  • Lusamine: "Run away... That thing... is a monster!!"

So, supposedly, the post game "has more story than Platinum's", they said that the game has more changes than Crystal and Emerald, and the script is twice the length of regular S&M.

According to the latest Famitsu interview, that is.

Well Alola has direct ties with the Kanto region, so I don't mind it too much.

But I would like a break from gen 1 after 2 gens of "remember Kanto?" nd one "AU Kanto"

Same reason that if you find Anabel in the Battle Tree (never bothered with it myself, it's just the Maison again), her battle theme is Gen 3 Frontier Brain when there's an official ORAS remix.

I was already disinterested in it from the start, with waay too many questionable decisions and stuff with the release of the game I just don't care about to justify it, game freak can keep their whitewashed Archie

It's...not hard to grasp guys :V
The designs from ORAS were from a seperate timeline, the originals. The ORAS Archie and Maxie still exist in our current world. These versions came from the timeline without mega evolution, so they would of course use their old designs. Remember how Anabel was a Faller in the SM Post game? She was from the Emerald timeline, and when you fight her you fight with the very old unedited 3rd gen battle frontier theme.

Its not a preferance thing or people didnt like the redesigns, its just keeping track with all the interdimensional BS this time around.

probably because Gen 6 and Gen 7 have different model proportions? Gen 6 is more chibi and Gen 7 is a more human proportioned

the ORAS team leaders have motivations and go "oh well darn this is embarrassing" when their plans go to shit, wouldn't make sense to use them
