Fate/Grand Order: Does anyone play this game?

With Onigashima finishing up, and Camelot on the horizon, how did ya'll fare in the second gauntlet of events we've had to burn through? Have you had your fill of raids? Did you finally find a use for that Lv1 NP4 Stheno you banished to second archive? Did you only get a single event CE in 90+ quartz (go away Lancelot!)? Did you pick your second free *4 based on what you know now a year later? I'm personally looking forward to the anniversary so I can hopefully get a new Rider or Caster, but I'm fine even if I get a double. Orion will somehow find a way to spook me though, just watch.
 
I got my Atalante to NP3 and Marie to NP2 on my gacha rolls

I also got my Kintoki all his ascension materials and his NP5. I never want to do this again...

also, thanks event for coming out on a steam sale... could done 2 more 10 rolls to try and get mama and bananas.
 
You could be in a worse boat. I had to do all of the Kintoki stuff on 2 accounts. Thankfully, the meme account's not concerned with clearing out shops, so it makes things easier on that end.
 
I threw down a lot of quartz and some money recently, didn't even get my favorite summer servant. Feelsbadman

With round 2 of Nerofest literally on the horizon (maintenance!) how ready are you guys? Did the class bait gacha get you that last minute ace you need? Did grinding out raids for Chloe finally get to you? Is Blackbeard truly the best magical girl? (lol no, it's Diarmuid)

I'm as ready as I can be for the event, despite failing to get Medb.....again. Hopefully I can get at least a few of the challenge quests done, though I don't look forward to them.
 
Well, how about hunt for a RW Medb?

F:GO Duel is a real world collectable minatures card game using F:GO as it's base. 8 figures per Season and 3 seasons have been Released. Medb was in Season 1.

LOL, I was being helpful. It relates to the game as a RW way to play and is a lot more affordable than the UFO Catcher Figures or Figma series toys.

Also, I found out when I went and bought 2 of the F/GO:D blind box figures that Saber Lily is a secret charater in the first series, but she is not Guaranteed to be in every case. Odds seem to be one in every 2-3 cases with the 9th one being one of the others repeated.

They also have an anti-weighing measure in the boxes for the lighter figures like Medb.
 
Good stuff to know. As for those who are stuck grinding in the digital version of this, if you need me to set something specific on my support list for ya, let me know. With all of this xp/qp coming in, I'm playing catch up with alot of servants.
 
So, Series 2-4 will only have 5 Servants (I'll list who is in them another time) and Aniplex USA is seeling the game here in the west, with translations commign for the Servant Power cards on the website.

As for the mobile game (as I stick to a basic flip phone so I am not distracted by so many app games) What's the latest main story Stage released for us in the west?
 
Camelot for story and Nerofest is going on atm, soon followed by Halloween rerun. Babylon should still be a month or two out yet. We do discuss JP from time to time on here too, so don't let that stop ya from discussing things if you're more up on that version.
 
So being amused Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is not a servant while Moriarty and Homes are is ok?
 
there's better writers that would make much more interesting servants than Doyle.

Ok, how about something to help: How do I get F/GO onto my laptop to play. I know there are app game spoofing programs but I don't know the safest one to use if I have to use one.
 
Nox is your best bet for that, but it goes down often due to them actively trying to kill emulators. While I'm not a fan of it, Reddit probably has a guide for getting it going if you need it. Just make sure to get a bind code in case it goes down or you get a phone that can run it.

Bind codes are used to transfer accounts between devices. The game can auto generate one for you in one of the menus that's one time use, but good until you use it. People tend to hold onto them as a backup of sorts in case the device they're playing on breaks, or they buy a new one. Newer tablets can run it easily enough, so if you start on PC, it'll be easy enough to switch it over to said tablet when you get one.
 
Today I looked at some stuff about Fate/Grand Order because I was curious and. Some interesting observations

Keep in mind I am well aware of Fate/Stay Night, it’s setting, as well as some of it’s spin-offs.

It turned Fate/Stay from a Niche-ish franchise into a fucking household name because Fate/Grand Order is one of the most downloaded mobile games in history

Some people now know about Fate simply because of Fate/Grand Order doujins.

Benjamin Franklin is in the game and he’s a lionheaded Superman.

A ton of historic characters are genderflipped for no reason but they’re nicely designed and not sexy all the time like another meme going on so whatever

There were at least 4 occasions where I was looking at the designs for younger girl characters and said out loud “OKAY. OKAAAAAAAAAAAAAY” and quickly scrolled past. Needless to say character design of some younger characters is simply not great.

Needless to say, I am more than a little confused by what the fuck Grand/Order is.
No, I know what the setting is, I have a loose idea of the plot, and I know how the gameplay goes.
But seriously.
What the fuck is Fate/Grand Order.
 
Summarizing Fate Grand order: Time Travel to find what will be wiping out humanity in 2019 and it has Servants being summoned all over Various Temporal Locations all to stop Humanity from being wiped out.

Also, that's not Ben Franklin, that Thomas Edison. Also Waver and Rin are Zhuge Liang and Ishtar, while Ilya and her mother Iri are Caster Class Servants themselves and Kitsurugu (the Father of Ilya & Shirou and husband of Iri) is an Assassin class Servant.

Well, take a look at all the Servants he has been poring out since Apocraphya got shortened and Grand Order Birthed from it.

Heck, we have Literary Characters joining the Gods, heroes and Villains as servants now. The Fate Timelines are becoming his Moneymaker.

Nasu is not dead. He's too busy playing Dark Souls. That said, it's alot of other people who do the bulk of the writing for this. He still weighs in on stuff, and handles a few events when they make him, but it's not just his anymore now. Think something along the lines of what happened with the Dragonball room and Toriyama. Grand Order is basically his Super.

That's a better way to put it, I'm at least super glad Fate/Stay broke out of it's niche and is more widely recognized, despite all the questionable stuff some of the awesome shit always balances it all out.
Though I am worried this may mean we'll never ever get new VNs
 
As someone who is still waiting on the Tsuki remake himself, I hope he does make more. Despite how convoluted it can be, his world is interesting.

Interesting on my first 10 Summons: Cu, Lu Bu, Ushiwakamaru, Medea and Two of Bathory for the Servants.

The tutorial roll always gives you a gold servant. NP2 Liz isn't a bad start, but you may have a rough few chapters until you get a more fleshed out lineup. That said, you did get some excellent silver servants in that roll, so it shouldn't be too bad.

I've got Shielder on the lad and Liz as second Primary servant, combining with FP gatcha rolls I'm running Mata Hari and Minotaur on the Story team for now with all the people who have been playing for over a year as the support wrecking house as needed.

So Halloween Liz about to start, should I even attempt to go for her?
 
Very much so. Welfare servants (event ones) are always worth it to go for. They require the least amount of materials to level to max and can be gotten to NP5 easily, especially her.
 
Ok, Thanks. I'm Grinding the Story right now, running around in Orleans. I did everything in Fuyuki except beat Shadow Berserker, and that included the extra missions after the stags.
 
Long enough it is safe to double post...who besides me is looking forward to trying for Assassin Cleopatra from Dangan Ronpa in a few events?

I have literally been preparing for her since day 1. There's a reason I have one of the highest Caesars in all of NA, and I owe it to my workout buddy there to go for it.
 
Jutsei, if it might tickle your Interest in the game some, Ryougi Shiki is obtainable in the game as both Saber and Assassin Class.

Downside is she is Five Star Rarity as Saber and Four Star Rarity as Assassin, so obtaining her is a bit of luck.

Sorc, I wish you the best of luck, but will having the Highest Caesars really help?
