We will need consoles and games! If you want to help out and bring your system for the tournament please contact me directly. You can send me a PM through here, or send an email to noahvand@gmail.com Posting in this page alone is not a confirmation for you to bring your system, and does not guarantee a waived venue fee.

All those that are confirmed through me to bring a system will not pay a venue fee.

YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN CONTROLLERS. Be ready to play on the system the game is going to be played on. Ignite will have some on hand to rent out, but do not rely on this.

If you have a game that is not being officially run that you want to have a side-tournament for, please contact me or post up. Side tournaments will be at 8 PM, and I will need volunteers to help run those brackets as needed.

Please note that Ignite Gaming Lounge is open to the public, and we can't have the staff's eyes on the donated consoles at all times. Please be vigilant and responsible for your belongings.

Food and drinks are available at the venue, but outside food and drink is allowed, including delivery.

See you there!

I will be riding an Indianapolis caravan up there for KoF,
but of course I will be doing SG.

Does that mean you guys have room for me? :3

Some things:

Unless there is some serious opposition, we'll be using PS3 for Injustice simply because we'll have more on hand.

Some side games have been added, so check em out!

We've added some more prizes to be raffled if you purchase your venue fee early, like gift certificates to the amazing local restaurant (literally down the street) Honey Butter Fried Chicken http://www.honeybutter.com/

See you there!

So things are kind of weird for me. I'll be visiting Chicago separately with friends this weekend so I won't be going with klaww's crew. But I think I can set aside time to make the SG tournament since it'll be starting lateish. I don't have the exact address right now (and I don't want to post it publicly) but apparently I'm told it's in the Niles area, which Google Maps is telling me is only 20-30 minutes away. I'm not familiar with Chicago so I dunno if there's any local transportation that's useful, but if anyone knows of any or can come along and pick me up that'd be great since I'd love to show up. I'm asking my friends now as well if anyone will drop me off but I just wanted to see if anyone is conveniently along the way.

You can google public transit directions on google as well, but from niles you're looking at an hour minimum, if there's something close.

I've been getting bodied by tons of school work (so much for being an easy last quarter ;_; ) so I actually may not be able to attend. If I do manage to make it, it'll be for casuals or something.

Tomorrow! Hope to see you all there!

On my way right now!

We can get the biggest TV in the joint

And next time SG will be a main game. We got more entrants than both Tekken and Injustice.

Oh really! That's awesome!

Was any of this recorded? And how many people showed up? Glad to hear it went well though!

Got 10, and if it was a main game probably would have gotten a few more. Chicago SG can be all over the place but we showed up yesterday. Unfortunately none was recorded of SG, only had sf4 and mvc3 streamed because it was a one day event with too many games.

I'm glad that I was still able to sign up despite showing up 15 minutes after the signups ended. Thanks guys! Was fun! It was weird that our other good Indiana SG player didn't enter despite being there, but if we showed up again he'd definitely sign up.
