USA [May 23, 2014] Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament 10 (UFGT) (Rosemont, IL)

omniscythe kept me out of top 16 and wouldn't money match me. the salt is real. I'm the only kc player who didn't make top 16.

My only goal was to make it out of pools and I didn't manage that; shit game obv. (jk shit player)
But really, I had a blast. Shoutouts to Winnie and @keninblack for hosting that hypeass party room. (still sorry for friday night :c) The casuals were great and fun, and omg that top 16 was so awesome.
Also thank you so much @Mike_Z for being a cool dude that makes great games and still hangs out with us and plays casuals (also your Potemkin is pretty fun to watch).

It turns out that we were originally headed in the right direction and all we needed to was keep on walking forward.

Naw dude entering tournaments doesn't help Lab Zero at all, the people in that generically named thread already explained this.

More entrants goes to more exposure
That leads into us maybe getting a main game spot at EVO or some other tournanent
Which would boost attention from people who will fund LZ

Um excuse me are you an expert Skullfan??? As someone who writes fanfiction and has a tumblr I think I know what I'm talking about.

it was recorded, i dont think it will get posted for a few weeks. UFGT generally does a good job with their stuff. just keep an eye out for it when it shows.

thanks for the great games everyone i played. thanks for hanging out and being an all around nice guy (even if you try to hide it) mike. also thanks for that hilarious 3s match with sa3 makoto > up punch of death. always fun to see that.

I forgot to properly yell at Mike for Fukua palettes not matching Val/Fil shell properly but he did at least agree with me that Duckator's attempt to shove Double onto a purple team is bush league at best

It wasn't a rant, it was a presentation with many examples of what fighting games have learned and what they have forgotten.
The section I titled differently was my opinions, the rest is LOGICAL FACTS. Which is why I was so upset I had to present any of it, ever.

i know, i agree, i was just playing with verdant brave. i really enjoyed your panel and im glad i skipped mystery game for it. (and i was ever nice enough to let them know i was withdrawing too, but they still yelled at me)
 
I chose to sleep in rather than watch mike yell at bad games. I want to go to a tourney and actually stay in the hotel, too much to do that makes an hour drive miserable.

I didn't yell at bad games, the panel had absolutely nothing to do with game mechanics.
 
Had a Blast here! I loved meeting everybody and seeing the skullgirls hype in person. Special Shoutouts to @Fuzzy_Snugs for surprising us with his visit! Super glad you were able to make it, because you deserved to be there with everyone and made a strong showing, and I was really happy because of it. :3 Hopefully you don't disappear and will continue to make an effort to appear in local stuff, though I understand where difficulties may come in.

I never got the chance to talk to Mike after the panel, but I thought there was a lot of neat stuff brought up that I never even thought about before, so it was very enjoyable to watch.
