Venue info :
You must be 18 or older to enter the venue. NO EXCEPTIONS (legal age for drinking etc. is 18 in Quebec)
You must buy food at the venue as well. Whether it's alcohol, nachos, burgers, sandwiches...Foonzo will even have a special menu for events! You cannot eat outside food or drinks inside the venue too.

Main Tournaments :
Blazblue Chrono Phantasma (most recent version, following evo rules)
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R

Side Tournaments :
Persona 4 Arena
Gundam EXVSFB 2v2
Arcana Heart 3
Melty Blood
Vampire Savior
Skullgirls
 
Montreal is within reasonable driving distance for me. Perhaps...?

Factors I would consider
-Is this a one day only thing
-Can I crash with someone Fri/Sat night so I don't have to get a hotel room
-What version of Arcana Heart 3 are they running because LOVE MAX!!!!! should be out by the time this rolls around
-Will people scream M! T! L! when I lose because the last time I was there that happened and I already had a headache and that made it worse

I'm not sure if montreal has much of an SG scene. I know they have a few players but i'm sure the tourney will be mostly out-of-towners.

I always play with headphones, dude. I normally can't hear anything but MTL is loud.

I made the mistake of answering honestly when the commentator asked where I was from, that was a bad idea. If I go again I'm just going to tell everyone I'm from Canada.

Alright I'm gonna say I'm officially in for this. I just found out some friends of mine from the area who I haven't seen in years are going to be there, so I wanna try to make it out. Still need to figure out the rooming situation, if there's someone who I could crash with that would be a big help, if not I'll figure something out.

Hi hi, just chiming in to give a few extra details

- Format is standard stuff. 2 out of 3, double elim, etc.
- Entry fee is $5
- No idea about the timing of the tourny yet

You could have made it an event and a thread at the same time and then I could just merge this one with that one.
 
Bleh... there's a big deadline coming up at work due June 17th, and depending on how things go I may need to work that weekend. I hope it doesn't come to that but I'm setting my RSVP as Maybe for the time being.
 
Life and work are always trying to get in the way ;.; Oh well. If you don't end up coming, we'll see you at Evo ^,^
