Filia Squigly Cerebella
I'm a player who puts a lot of time into Skullgirls. I would like it if u could help me brush on how I play. I'm average, but I can hold my own online. I play as:
Filia (Ringlet Spike [M])
Cerebella (Cerecopter)
Squigly (Arpeggio)
I am open to changes in my team or how they assist. I use Cerebella's and Squigly's assist to help out with a Filia combo; though it's not nescessary, it just makes more hits. I wouldn't mind picking different characters (just not Double). I can't play Eliza yet because I don't have steam. I may idk. But I will take any advice.

team seems solid, but why aren't you using updo assist. (retorical question)

also with cerecopter + arpeggio assists, you have two assists that practically do the same thing. Recommend switching Squiggly's assist to c.hp. It's a low that does 3 hits of lockdown while you do filia IADs.

Squiggly teams usually have her on point since anchor squiggly needs to fight find time to charge stances in the late game, where she already needs to deal with an incoming mixup. Suggest moving her on 1st or 2nd. Cerebella and Filia are stronger anchors; personally think that cerebella should be last.

aside from that, we can't give much advice unless you have questions or videos of your play. Dunno about the population on psn, but there are a lot of players that are pc only. and the sooner you get matchup experience with Eliza, the better off you'll be. She's looking pretty crazy right now.

I'm just asking for proper ways of using my characters, so thanks with the stance thing. I'm just wondering if Eliza would work with my team better than Filia or Bella.

You've got a reallly wonky looking team there. Not the characters, just the order.

I would run it:
Fillia (HP updo)
Squigly (2HP)
Cerebella (Cerecopter)

You will have some redundancy in assists for Fillia, BUT the game plan of this team doesn't actually revolve around her.

Basically it is a pretty typical Squigly team (she runs second in 80% of teams, by the way, because she needs meter and she needs an assist (preferably BB brass or Bella copter)). The idea of the team is to convert the first hit into a game winning situation, you want to get the opponent into the Fillia blender and get rid of a character with no meter used, then hopefully land an incoming mixup and DHC into Squigs/Filia/Bella stocked with meter.

Basically Squigly teams in general are run such that you optimally end up with Squigs on point stocked with meter and 2 assists. However Squigs/Bella is a decent duo should the plan not exactly work out so it isn't a complete winmore team.

Hey, should I use Ashes 2 Ashes or c.HP?

Hey, should I use Ashes 2 Ashes or c.HP?
Cremation is more suggested, in my opinion at least. Since Ashes to Ashes has a start-up, making it obvious what move Squigly will, and she can easily be punished during the start-uo. Plus, Cremation hits low, which means you have to crouch to block it. Ashes to Ashes can be blocked just be holding back, because it's an overhead.

You don't need to quote the entire thing. you can do @(name here) to call someone out, or just get to the part of the quote you want to expand on. And I still say c.hp assist.

unless if you're talking about some other context.

Is there any sort of strategy I should go about? Like, maybe I wait until Filia is low on health and send out Squigly and then when the two of them die, I use Cerebella?

I could use Hairball?
Hairball moves the target. So, for example, if your opponent gets caught in French Twist, and they're near the corner, you could probably get them in the corner and start wailing on them. (I'm just assuming that's what the assist is for)

Add me, I'll play you and give some advice. PSN: ImTheOmen

DONT RUN UPDO.

RUN FRENCH TWIST C.MK WITH FILIA

Frenchtwist is a multi hitting low that works like a vacuum.
