Big Band Squigly Fukua
I borrowed a friends controller to play Skullgirls on PC and I literally couldn't move due to Peacock's Shadow of Impending Doom, Boom Boom Boom, and the George projectiles + Fukua's projectile. I'm using Fukua, Big Band and Filia. any assistance at all would be helpful, because I'm getting really sick of this

Have you tried using any of the suggestions from the last two threads you made about this?

Yes, they didn't help at all. also the last thread wasnt jus for Peacock, this is exclusive to peacock

spam projectiles back until peacock is dead because during that pattern she has to eat them but eh

Peacock is your Kryptonite, isn’t she?

On topic: You play Big Band. That’s like cheating if you face a Peacock player. Just nail their pattern down, use your armor to get through and kill them.

Against a Peacock player who doesn't know how to fight Big Band, maybe. H Brass doesn't hit from fullscreen unless you kara s.MK into it (which is painful in tight projectile strings), and if it whiffs or is blocked they can call assist > argus and bam, back at fullscreen again. H Giant Step is punishable on reaction with argus, and that's only IF you find the precious time to do it in the first place. The threat of item drop prevents you from reliably air parrying your way through her wall of crap. It's very much an uphill battle and not something I would recommend to someone trying to figure out how to counter (experienced) Peacocks.

As for OP, dealing with Peacock is a character-by-character deal. No two characters handle her zoning in the same way. If you run Squigly with Big Band, sing assist can help you close the gap very quickly. Try using that.

Attempted to use A Train, got hit by Fukua assist, Attempted Giant Step hit by Boom Boom Boom, didn't attempt Stunt Double yet, died too early

Thanks, I'll try it if I come past that guy again. though hopefully I won't.

You should seek help in the form of matches against experienced peacock players. Find someone to play a set against you while you experiment with different tactics and strategies. Sets can be a really productive way to learn and improve upon specific skill sets.

Problem is hardly anyone wants to do sets

you add them. then ask. if they don't want to run sets the least they can do is answer where you have been messing up.
fukua= a hard battle IF peacock is using fukua M shadow if its the other way around then you need to outplay fukua Plain and simple.

bigband= i dunno i hate the character in its entirety but flotilla offered up his thoughts sooo yeah.

filia= L air airball up or Tiger knee Airball M to get through

I main Peacock and Bigband so maybe i can help you.

But about Big Band,He have a lot of tools to counter Peacock zoning but the main thing you need to do is...keep the pressure on peacock on the first seconds of game,This is not just for Big Band its for every char, run on her face dont let them get away to begin her zoning game. And if she begins, you need to find the little gap on her zoning and use your tools to counter her, defend her projectiles and see her pattern and punish her, Giant Step [H] destroy all projectiles on the screen and knocks her, you can use j.HK and tech forward to close the gap between you and her, another cool trick is cancel s.HK into Brass Knuckles [H] so you can hit full screen.

If you need help on training and stuff add me, i think i can help you.

add the gamertag in my sig if you are playing on xbox. theres players of all skill levels on there and i know theres a few pea players.

people on the list are usually up for playing sets if you message them first.
