Backers of 2013's Keep Skullgirls Growing Indiegogo campaign are in for a treat; the digital Skullgirls soundtrack and art compendium have been updated to include the newest additions from the Skullgirls universe.

Backers who pledged $10USD or more can enjoy the updated Skullgirls Original Soundtrack, now bundled with Bath of Tefnut and Gehenna's music tracks. You can download the updated soundtrack by visiting humblebundle.com, logging in, navigating to My Library, and selecting "Skullgirls Contributor" under Other Purchases. The option to download the Skullgirls OST should be available to you!

Backers who pledged $81USD or more are able to peruse the updated Digital Art Compendium, containing concept art, wallpapers, talking heads, and frame dumps of every character in the game. This update adds Eliza's assets to the DAC, alongside fixing transparency issues with Filia/Fukua's eyes in their frame dumps. Also fixed were issues that prevented older versions of the compendium from being viewed or decompressed. You can download the updated compendium by visiting humblebundle.com, logging in, navigating to My Library, and selecting "Skullgirls Contributor" under Other Purchases. The option to download the DAC will be under eBooks.

Non-backers, fear not: Lab Zero has promised to release a "Disc 2" append to select digital retailers that sell the Skullgirls Original Soundtrack. This will occur once Skullgirls Encore's soundtrack is finalized after Robo-Fortune's release, so hang in there. Additionally, there are tentative plans to allow the public to purchase the Digital Art Compendium; when these plans manifest themselves into a buyable commodity, Skullheart'll cover it.

You can read the original Lab Zero announcement here, which also features some previously-unseen Eliza concept art!

Finally, if the updated soundtrack isn't quite enough to sate your musical thirst, consider heading over to Skullgirls co-composer Blaine McGurty's soundcloud and check out the work he's done for Skullgirls over the last couple years! In addition to the main menu music, character select theme, and a sizable amount of storymode incidental tracks, he's also posted the Fukua reveal trailer theme in full and a groovy unused Skullgirls track with a disco motif. Give him your love!

Wow Fukua's Theme is really catchy....wish I could fight to that.
Regardless cant wait to buy some things once robo's done. ^^

I noticed the other day that they updated the Compendium as an eBook, which was a brilliant move. Downloading it as a Torrent was sooo much smoother, and I'm assuming that'll also make it easier to sell for other folks through HumbleStore in the future.

That disco track, omg. Makes me wanna grab my pick and get a blow out goin' on.

And yeah, Fukua's theme is...I think the best theme song in the game. Very different compared to the rest. Her theme just lets you know that trouble is coooommmminnnngggg, something is gonnnnnna fuck your shit up big time.

That a really good disco track. Mike z please add this to the fight music wtf

The Disco and Fukua tracks are not working for me. Says they are private or deleted.

Edit: They're fine now.

When can we crowd fund a B-side for Skullgirls in game music?

Now I got gehenna theme to listen too all halloween night to not sleep!

Now I hope for a few bonus stages using those extra themes someday.

So that means I can get SG Soundtrack "Volume 2" on Google Play. Awesome!

The disco track is giving me some old-school Capcom vibes (particularly MvC and MvC2) ;_;

Mike Z should make it so that random people can make their own combo challenges and post it so anyone on PS3, PC or XBOX could play them.

I'd say the later half of fukua's theme also gives that vibe.

so is anyone else getting another corrupt file message when they download the art compendium?

Mine unpacked fine. Did you grab it through direct download or torrent?

for soome reason the program i was using to unpack it was having issues. i downloaded a different one and it works fine now. loving elizas frames atm :)

Which program were you using? We'd like to know in case someone else has the same problem.

I'm incredibly super sad that Disco Theme did not make it into the game. It's like THE best thing. I could totally see it as an alt theme for the Casino stage.

So Fukua and or Robo Brings the Funk? 030 lol
