Macro Micro Gaming presents Alpha Clash 5! Alpha Clash is a tournament for Super Street Fighter 4, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and this time around Super Smash Bros Melee And Skullgirls!

If you want to play casuals you must pay venue fee.

$10 Venue
$10 Tournament per game

Prize Payout: 70/20/10% to first, second, and third.

Approximate Event Schedule:
5-6PM Event setup/Free play
6PM - 12AM Tournament play

My friend is going to be running the Skullgirls tournament.

For our ruleset:

-Best 2 out 3 per set, best 3 out of 5 for finals
-Winner cannot switch assists/characters, but may switch character order
-All characters, stages, and ratios are allowed
-Double Elimination
-It will run on the latest patch for the Steam Version of Skullgirls.

If you have any feedback on the rules, please let us know. We're also looking for anyone who could provide an additional laptop or computer setup for us to use the tournament on (IF NEEDED), we would really appreciate it.(this means you need a steam account with the game owned)

The entry fee will be $10 and split 70/20/10 among first, second, and third place respectively.

welp can't guarantee that i can make this because it's so short notice but you might be better off doing 2/3 instead of 3/5. this isn't umvc3, no one has the right to complain about the game being random. that's the only game allowed to be 3/5. sg is fine as 2/3
 
Yeah we're sorry for the short notice, originally Skullgirls wasn't going to be in Alpha Clash but our group persuaded the TOs and were able to get it in (we didn't get the ok until tuesday). Hopefully we do get enough people to enter to at least show that people do have interest (crossing my fingers). Also you are right 3/5 is not needed but would you say that it should only happen in finals?

winner's finals, losers finals, and grand finals are usually 3/5. anywhere else is too much
