UPDATE: Eliza's free period has been graciously extended to the 13th of January for Steam, XBLA, and US/JP PSN! Lab Zero is currently trying to confirm the date for EU PSN.

After three months of bathing in the limelight (and copious amounts of blood), Eliza's free period is coming to an end; after December 30, 2014, Eliza will no longer be free to redeem on Steam and PSN (US). If you or your friends haven't redeemed her yet, do so now! If you redeem Eliza (for free!) before her free period ends, you'll own her forever with no catches.

For PSN EU and 360 owners of Skullgirls Encore, Eliza's free period concludes December 31, 2014, giving you an extra day to acquire her. PSN JP Skullgirls players have yet another day, with Eliza's free period ending January 1, 2015 for PSN Japan.

That banner. Eliza should be happy that she's about to not-be-free. One of her dislikes is 'philanthropy' after all.

Anyway, I'm plugging my PS3 in as i type this. I need her on BOTH platforms.

Ah, crap, better dust off the ps3, download whatever worthless updates its gotten and then download Eliza then before it's too late.

Trying to figure out exactly when she's supposed to go paid, btw. Will post up on fb/twitter once we know the exact date. Should be sometime next week for everything except XBLA I think.

@Flotilla - I'll msg you once I find out so you can update the post around the same time we post about it on fb/twitter! :D

Confirmed for Steam, US PSN, JP PSN, and XBLA: Eliza's free period ends on January 13th.

Waiting for confirmation from Sony EU about EU PSN. Will let you all know once we have confirmation!

It's still January 12th here in BC, Canada - can I not download her anymore? (Steam has her on sale, but she still costs more than I paid for the game)

Am I SOL...? I bought the dual pack to play with my brother but this puts a huge dampener on things...

Hey @BRSxIgnition - Saw your post on FB too. Sorry about the confusion. We found out just a day ago that her free period end date was actually today (1/12) on Steam and not 1/13 like it is for PSN/XBLA.

She's currently on sale for $3.74, which is the same price as the game at 75% off. If that's more of an investment than you're willing to make, I guarantee you she'll go on sale in the future, so it's just a matter of patience. :)

That said, all future DLC character releases (i.e. Beowulf and Robo Fortune) will be free, so don't fret too much. ;)
 
I ended up making the plunge and bought all the DLC - minus color palettes - it seemed worth it, and judging by what I've played, my hunch was right. Glad to support such a quality game made by people who actually seem to care about their work. I can't wait to see more!
