Filia An odd air dash inconsistency with Filia

I have run into a problem with the way her air dashes and air attacks connect into one another. When I try to use her jumping m.punch after her air dash it flat out refuses to chain, no matter how much I spam it. I wondered what the deal was and soon found out. I use the PP shortcut for air dashes. When I tried to do so with double tapping it chained normally, like it should have. As far as I know this problem only shows up with Filia, since I also play Valentine and Eliza who have similar air dash canceling mechanics but work just fine with the PP shortcut. I don't like using double taping for dashing and would like it to be fixed.

I think it's only her jumping medium punch that works this way since I can do a jump in dash h. punch with the shortcut just fine. Her other jumping attacks might be bugged tool but I am not sure.

There is no bug as far as I'm aware;
I airdash with PP (both LPMP and MPHP) and can do IAD jMP just fine
In fact, just hitting MP+HP twice in a row quickly will give you IAD jMP easily

I use Lp and Mp for air dashes bound to one of the macros. I tried to do it by quickly hitting mp hp twice in a row like you suggested but there is still a noticeable delay compared to using double tap method which allows me to cancel it immediately. Also this is my first time here so I was not sure whenever I should post this in the bug section or the beta discussion because it's not a bug per se.

Edit: I experimented some more in the training mode and I think I have a vague idea whats causing it. The attacks that fail to come out immediately are the ones that I have bound to one of the macros aka LP and MP. When I changed it to LP and HP the attacks bound to them had a delay when air dashing instead. I am using a dual shock controller if it matters.

If you hit MP before releasing the LP + MP macro, you wont get it since the game sees it as MP being pressed. Release the macro quicker or change it to LP+HP.

I tried to do as you suggested but even with perfect execution the delay is too noticeable compared to simply double tapping a direction.
