hello ! i am new here, i am Cutsman from NoSound Gaming, we host all kinds of tournaments mostly for fighting games.

we are starting to hold tournaments for SkullGirls so thats why i am here :) i was told all the best players can be found from here ^^

these tournaments are small for starters but if it gets popular we will host 16-32 player tournaments with good cash prices.
all of our tournaments are free to join and some of the matches are streamed.

ok apparently nulleeet cant stream this time because he is going to a lan event in finland. so we dont have a streamer this time. if there is someone who wants to stream the event :) let me know ^^ i would do it.. but i dont have good enough upload x)

The team/players mentions are kinda weird, but I suppose the website is meant that way for other games.

Don't you mean Match BO3, Finals BO5? I don't mind though, I like long sets.

you can have a program or keyboard macros to do combos with one button, these are not allowed.

I can try streaming this for you guys this time, it probably won't be the greatest but it's something. Though I did want to ask, last time around you guys were wary of non-EU guys being in the tournament, so is that still fine that us across the pond here can enter?
 
yeah its ok. im not still sure about the community and which countries would be best :D.. i can hold US/EU tournaments if you guys want so :) i should make a poll about it to our website :)

The event in your Steam group appears to suggest it's 2 hours earlier. An error, I'm guessing?
 
Should probably clarify somewhere on the page that Macros refers to "autocombo" macros via programmable keys,
rather than the game's inbuilt 'macro option' (aka binding two+ buttons to the same button)

Is this for all areas? It doesn't limit entrants to a specific region, as far as I can see?
I doubt it's for the best of the tournament if you regularly have EU vs Australia matches followed by USE vs Korea followed by USW vs Vietnam;
Just ends up being a laggy unfun mess for everybody?!
 
yeah, thats why we have the poll there on the website. this is only a small tournament we are just starting out with skullgirls so i do not know much about the community or the game itself. but it seems mostly usa players coming up :D so maybe we will hold usa only.. we will see :). and yeah the steam group event times are incorrect, i have no idea what timezone steam uses in the group there is no setting or any indication for the timezones on steam so.. i have absolutely no idea what time it will set when i put lets say 17:00 it could end up being 5:00 in the morning.. sorry for that, you can see the real times on our website www.nosoundgaming.org

if someone has any idea about the steam group timezones please help me out x), and if someone can stream the event let me know apparently rex cant stream it after all so :)

75% of the people signed up for tomorrow are from EU, though. Don't know where Angelus is from. If he's EU as well, make that 87,5%.

As long as you set it for the time the tournament will start for you, it should automatically show correctly for everyone else in their timezone.
The time it is set in the Steam group is correct now.
 
Was the poll for the region for the next skullgirls tournament?
 
yes the vote is for the region of the next tournament, if both get lots of votes maybe i will host US and EU separately i dont see a problem in holding two tournaments in a month. and yeah sorry there might be some laggy games in this one, but please just bear with us :) we are new for this game and we will do everything to improve the quality of the tournaments. and thanks for the info muro :) and angelus is from eu yup :)

its ok, you will get infraction point on our website if you get too many you will be banned for a while this system has been noticed to be efficient during years of hosting tournaments, some people usually take a spot and then dont come x) this system is there to prevent that. if it looks like you cant make it to a tournament after you have signed up, its a good idea to either leave the tournament or let someone know so they can tell me. like reply to one of our posts or to our website or something, so i can remove you from there.

but really dont worry about it, its quite normal that some people cant make it and forget to let us know about it. hopefully we will see you in the next one ^^.

and yeah thanks for all who participated and check out www.nosoundgaming.org for more tournaments there are already two more tournaments for skullgirls :)
