What kind of things might Rich Brown say as the Saxploitation version of Big Band? This is another crowd funded alternate voice pack, so Lab Zero wants to include fan suggestions whenever possible! Reply to the thread with your suggestions and an appropriate context for the line.

Example:
You know the rules. She chose me! (victory vs anyone)

Notes about Saxploitation Big Band:

This concept is based the blacksploitation film genre, an ironically wonderful product of the 1970s.

Remember Skullgirls is T for Teen, so respect limits for offensive language. For example, paraphrasing Dolemite to call Beowulf a "rat suit wearin' honky motherfucker" would be going too far. Keeping it at "rat suit wearin' honky" is a much better suggestion!

Because it often draws inspiration form the same sources, anything from or inspired by the Boondocks is also fair game.

Please respect the legal implications of participating in this thread as described by render:

Win (generic): Brass to the face puts a fool in their place.

Intro (Squigly/Fortune): GOTDAYUM, there's damaged goods and then there's you!

Win (Marie): I got 99 problems, but a lich ain't one.

Intro (Big Band): Wha'chu starin' at, you panflute-lookin' punk?

Win (Peacock): You ain't ready to come out of the vault, shorty!

This is all I got, but...

(Intro, generic): YOU DONE FUNKED UP NOW! (Paraphrased from Black Dynamite)
(Time Out or KO by chip damage, whichever works better): I'm gettin' to old for this sound.

When's jive?

Band had to call Beowulf a "wolf suit wearing honkey" though. :3

Some lines modeled after actual blaxploitation flick lines:

"You mess with the oboe, you gots to go!" (pre-fight; possibly vs. Filia?) [Undercover Brother]
"I'll take care of this mello-eatin' mook here." (tag-in or pre-fight) [Black Dynamite]
"Shoulda known I got a black belt in baritones." (win) [Foxy Brown]
"They say that birdy Ben is a bad mother-" "SHUT YOUR MOUTH!"(TUBATUBATUBATUBATUBA/Satchmo Deathblow; first is for the rapid-punching, second's for the ender) [Shaft]
"Gotta warn ya; I can catch bullets. With my flute." (generic pre-fight) [The Last Dragon]
"A putz like you couldn't ice tea!" (taunt) [Vampire in Brooklyn]

(win pose) "Threw that beat before I walked in the room!" [Black Dynamite]
(vs. Peacock) "Girl, you come straight out of a comic strip!" [Boondocks]

If coordination wasn't a big problem (which it probably is), one line could involve the Salty Parasol voicepack
Parasol: "You supposed to be some badass mother..."
Big Band: "Shut your mouth!"
Referencing shaft.

Also, it's not referencing Blacksploitation, but could we have him saying "DAH BRASS" (ala @keninblack for Brass Knuckles?

Not really blaxploitation, but...

"They call me mister Band!" [In the Heat of the Night]

I've had a look into some blacksploitation, and I found a few good quotes and lines and adapted some due to either length or mature content:

(General intro)"I'm gon' kick yo' ass fo' messin' with me!" (from Dolemite)
(General intro)"No honky tells me when I can split!" (Adapted from Superfly)
(General intro)"I'm gonna make you sweat one way, then the other!" (from Blackbelt Jones)
(Intro vs Ms. Fortune?)"You'd take from yo' mama, you'd even take the limbs off a tree!" (from Dolemite)
(Intro vs Double)"You need a sun lamp like I need dancing lessons." (Adapted from Watermelon Man)

(General win)"I got to feeling like a machine, and that's no way to feel." (from Shaft)
(General win)"You have underestimated me and my intelligence." (from The Thing With Two Heads)
(General win)"Man, don't you know we already got enough trouble on the sidewalk?" (Adapted from Shaft)
(Win vs Double)"You two for a dime, you jive time freak show." (Adapted from Hit Man)
(Win vs Peacock)"Which way are you ridin', sister?" (Adapted from Buck and The Preacher)
(Win vs Cerebella)"You can go tell your boss he can kiss my shiny behind." (Adapted from Trouble Man)
(Win vs Parasoul)"Soldier can never think by his heart. He got to think by the book." (Adapted from Sergeant Rutledge)
(Win vs Big Band)"You ain't nothin' but a foo' with a chicken's backbone." (Adapted from Cotton Comes to Harlem)

Can't come up with loss quotes :(

(TUBATUBATUBA)"RORORORORORORO RAAAWR!" (in reference to Dolemite's hilariously bad fight scenes)
(Lv1 Blockbuster, can't remember the name)"Kiss my Converse!" (from Last Dragon)
(Taunt)"Well dip me in batter and roll me in breadcrumbs!" (Adapted from Steel)

Now that the pack has actually come out, let us voice our opinions on it.
I think it's bloody great!
By far my favorite line is:
"The name's Big Ban. The D is silent."
referencing Django Unchained, one of my all-time favorite movies.
