Okay, I'm going to spoiler this in case.
I'm so mad Smash has Ryu now. Can we please have a fighting game that doesn't have Ryu? There were so many better options and choices and he just looks out of place. It was too obvious, I suppose. His model looks crappy, but I'll admit I do like his stage.
I'm very excited about Roy, though! I'm not sure how I feel with having another Marth clone (unless he's a Ike clone or something completely new, please correct me), but I'm still happy he made his way back to Smash.
I would've still preferred Wonder Red over both of them, though.

Smash was inspired from Street Fighter 2, Street fighter 2 was extremely prevalent on the Super Nintendo. Also it's smart cross promotion for Street Fighter V. Honestly I am so excited he is in the game. I have a second main now!

Oh wow, they both have good colors to pick from. I especially like the second Roy and the third Ryu. I can't believe there's no Ken reference, either. They seem to have what looks like Dan, though, or am I mistaken?

Some bad news regarding the leak:

-No Guile's theme
-Buncha Ryu theme remixes, meh
-Lucas's Final Smash is PK Starstorm, ech
-Roy's is Critical Hit, for a third time
-But Ryu's is Shin Shoryuken and that's cool.
 
I'm still crossing my fingers for when they reveal ryu (or when he gets his own trailer), they use this song at the end of it
 
OK, I think I see how Ryu works
His combo chains are gonna be more accessible for non-Street Fighter players due to all of his attacks generally having a more hitstun than a Smash Bros. character would usually get for their normals

Ryu players are gonna be the ones to watch in fights with items turned on, I can already see some crazy combos waiting to happen with the Gooey Bomb or Pitfall Seed or Boss Galaga

Ken to me looks pretty good, and they just ripped the inkling model from Splatoon, which I'm ok with. However, with the inclusion of an Inkling trophy in smash, I'm extremely sad there's most likely no chance of the Inklings getting in.

Yep, Inkling for me was up on my wishlist for characters I wanted in, with Wonder Red. Shame she's basically been confirmed to not be put in.
I really like that Ken trophy. Looks quite nice.
 
Look, the only thing that would actually piss me off in terms of new characters for Smash would be a Konami character.

the black effects make it look a lot more like a SF4 focus attack but that's just me maybe

I'm thinking it is a Focus Attack, you can see him use one in his video.
Which is a bit of a shame, I was hoping they'd be able to utilize more than just the Focus Attack in terms of SF specific mechanics.
 
So much for the spoilers.
I wonder how Smash would play with a fightstick. I know some poor sap of a company (Madcatz) released a Wii one, but does it even work with Smash in a way that is efficient?
