It certainly seems that many people use the term "beginner" loosely in lobbies. Many times I'll create a beginner lobby and get wrecked by random people that are anything but beginners. Where are the actual beginners??
A lot of times intermediate players join beginner lobbies to help the beginners improve, as fighting someone better than you helps you much more than fighting someone at your level.
If an intermediate player joins your lobby, you can kick them out of it if you made the lobby.
If you want to find other beginners to play with out of lobbies, you can make a post in the beginner matchmaking thread, to help find people at your skill level. You can also join some beginner groups. You can find a few in the beginner resource thread.
My main problem is that this happens 90% of the time. You have to start to wonder at some point if non-beginners just want to make themselves feel good.
This is why I will always recommend that players play in 2 slot lobbies.
If the other person is much much better, then you then you can kick them.
Otherwise you can just grind out matches with someone at a similar skill level.
Things get really out of hand when 7 other people are joining your lobbies from all over the world with 500 ping that are also very good players.
Nobody will understand why you are kicking them.
