King's Quest is a long-running series of adventure games, with the first game in the series (King's Quest: Quest for the Crown) coming out in 1983 when Star Wars was good and Shaquille O'Neal's acting career was but a harrowing vision of things to come, and the newest entry (Also called King's Quest because of course it is) coming out a few days ago, when both the prequels and Shaq's acting career stand as painful reminders of the hubris of man.
Made by Sierra Entertainment, the King's Quest series is credited as being one of the first graphical text-based adventure games, a genre which would spawn many others of it's type in the years to come.

With the new game having come out very recently, I figured that there was no better time to start this thread.

To begin the discussion, what is everyones opinion on the newest game in the series? Personally, I think it's pretty damn good, though there are a few issues that bother me (Why can't I skip interactions with objects once I've already seen them?), but on the whole I think it's a thumbs up.
