Beowulf Cerebella Big Band
Hello everyone, Crypt here. After dabbling in bullshit for the last couple weeks, I'm trying to get my shit together before summer jam. Drag over a coffin and take a seat as I tell you what's bothering me.

1. Figuring out how to approach Eliza as Cerebella. Eliza is always flying around and throwing out those huge air normals, so I usually go for one of three things here:
-get under her and devil horns her into hell
-get a hard read on an excellabella, can't get much else off of this but it's something that gets her out of my face
-double jump, get higher than her, j.hk and take it from there

Eliza has been out for a while and not feeling very confident when going up against her is a problem.

2. Beowulf/Big Band teams
I've been blown up by this team a handful of times now, whether the big band has brass or beat extend. SUPER annoying. I think this is more of a problem of knowing what to do against Beowulf but having Big Band behind him has proven to be extra bad for me.

I guess this also leads into the fact that I've been messing with Beowulf myself for the last few weeks in an attempt to get a feel for what his neutral game should be like. It's fun to throw the chair and then swing the giant arm around but this is probably the sort of thing that people come to expect at this point, so it becomes stale and ineffective. Just looking for some general advice for Beowulf's neutral game.

3. Double laying down a puddle when I'm incoming
This is just going to be a matter of not being stupid and learning to block the right way but I got hit with this a lot a few days ago and I was feeling the SALT

The team I'm running right now is Beowulf(H Chair toss)/Cerebella(H LnL) but I've been wondering if Bella may function better on point so I can get to throwing out chairs immediately, giving me the beloved DP assist option from the get go. However I've been liking having Beo on point since I've started playing him, it allows him to get some hype up for DHC'ing into alpha maul later on if I so choose. Any advice on team construction is appreciated.

That's all for now boils and ghouls, I hope you're all DYING to feast your BLOODSHOT eyes on the next installment of TftCK!

I would actually recommend for you to try a few things in this matchup.
I find myself using Pummel Horse a lot when it comes to characters with lots of air dominance. It has a few hits of armor, so it'll absorb her jumping normals while dealing her a bit of damage and sending her towards the corner. Lock N' Load is also available in this situation, but I think Pummel Horse does its job better. Excellabella has a large hitbox as well, and it is unblockable when your opponent is jumping into the air. It doesn't have the invincibility frames of Devil Horns, so you need to be a bit careful with how you space it.

Devil Horns is a bit situational. As you can probably tell, the hitbox isn't very wide so using it on jump-ins can be a bit difficult and ineffective.
She actually has a lot of good air options aside from j.HK. J.HP has a glide to it and a very big hitbox, so you can use the glide after a super jump to get above your opponent. J.LK is really good for air-to-airs with really good range, but it is slightly slow compared to some other character's jumping lights, so keep your distance with it to not be beaten out. J.MK has good range, is easy to combo off of, and has a ton of active, so if the startup isn't a problem you should using it. It also alleviates the problem of only being able to hit with j.HK when you're below them, as it has a very wide hitbox right in front of her, and not below.

Edit: A very late edit, but I noticed I've been calling Battle Butt Pummel Horse constantly. Sorry.
