Given that this is the beginner forum, i wanted to ask what is the difference between a Combo Reset and an Infinite, i googled away trying to find definitions but there is nothing that really explains both terms, if someone would be nice enough to answer this, i would give you all of my gratitude.

A combo reset is where you drop a combo and hit the player again.
An infinite is a combo you can keep up indefinitely. (Doesn't exist in skullgirls minus snapbacks)
Very basic, but I hope it helps.

The difference is that a reset gives the person being hit an opportunity to escape the combo just by blocking correctly or hitting the opponent out of the reset (likely with a reversal), in order to reset the combo you have to let it end at some point, but right away out the opponent in a situation that's very hard to defend against. An infinite is just a combo that goes on indefinitely, either until the character dies or the timer runs out. Some people also call combos that can go on as long as you have meter infinites, like vergil sword loops or zero lightning loops in marvel 3, but since it requires a finite resource it's not a true infinite, it just goes on for a loooooong time.
