Im new to fighting games i have Skullgirls on the PC, and i was wondering what are good beginner combos for valentine like i just want to be able to win. I currently dont use a team since i just wanna learn valentine for now. the game is crazy enough as is for me. I tried to look up videos but there all these crazy do 6k dmg without vials and direct X and windows 7 or some other BS which i dont care about. I did the move guide for valentine which is on the game and i got up to ch 4 on the tutorial but im stuck on the jump ins cause i suck at air combos like really bad at them i always panic when i try them.

Taken from the BnB compendium, here's a BnB combo.
"c.lk, c.mk(1 hit), c.hp,
j.hp xx H Air Savage Bypass,
M Air Savage Bypass,
air dash, j.mp(2 hits), j.hk,
rejump, j.lp, j.mp(3 hits), j.hk, adc, j.mk, j.hk*,
dash, s.lpx3, s.mpx2, c.mk, s.hkx3 xx otg H Savage Bypass xx EKG Flatliner.

*Flew Shot instead of j.hk if you have a vial loaded".
Try to finish the tutorials; they will really help you. Keep at it and you'll get the sample combos eventually.
 
Basic beginner combos. When I put x or a number after a normal, a number means how many hits, x usually means its a multihit. In the cases of these combos, just do all of the multihits that normal can do. sMP has many hits, but you only need to press it twice for each series of hits, not for every hit. (I used to mash it hard.) cLK is the same, it has a single hit, then if you press cLK again, it has a multihit followup. sMK is only one button and the followup is automatic, but you can cancel it early into another normal or special. cMK is the same. cMK hits twice automatically, but a lot of people only use the first hit. cMK1 > cHP.

cLK cMK1 sHP HBypass EKG -- Max Damage
cLK cMK1 sHK3 Vial Load -- Oki/Poison Gain, you can chase even after loading a vial, try to dash right away and follow them.

Basic resets from above combos.
cLK Throw
cLKx Throw
sLPx delay uncombo cLK
sLPx delay Throw
cLK cMK2 Mortuary Drop

A slight step up from the last combo and I'll leave it at this.
cLK cMK1 cHP jHP HBypass MBypass land dash up otg sLK sMPx cMK2 sHP HBypass EKG -- Max Damage

Resets for the above combo. This is not all you can do, just a listing of some things you can do.
cLK cMK1 cHP jLP jLKx will cross them under. Do cLK or Throw or jab them when you land behind them.
cLK cMK1 cHP jHP delay jump, air throw reset
cLK cMK1 cHP upback uncombo jHK2 to beat people teching air throw, if it hits, HBypass
cLK cMK1 cHP upback jHK1 air dash cancel (two punches or forward twice) air throw. Gimmick reset, but nasty. Better in the corner.
cLK cMK1 cHP HBypass MBypass land otg cLKx Throw
cLK cMK1 cHP HBypass MBypass land otg cLKx delay uncombo cMK2
