Out of all the game threads we have I'm suprised we don't have a Mario Brothers thread.

The year is 1983. Mario Bros hits the arcades and with it spawned a sequel called Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo Entertainment System and the rest is history.

Honestly who hasn't played a Mario game? Mario is by far the most iconic character in all of gaming.

My first experience with Mario was Sunshine and double dash on the GameCube. Since then I have been a big fano of Mario.

What hasn't Mario done? He's been a plumber, a referee, a golfer, a tennis player, pretty much everything.

With the release of Mario Maker and Marios 30th anniversary I thought we could talk about our Mario experiences and how he has made an impact on your gaming career.

Mario 1 was maybe the first game I ever played (either that or Ducktales).

My personal favorite in the franchise is Mario 3. I like the harder difficulty, pseudo adventure/rpg elements in choosing your path across the maps and stocking up on items to use, all the unique enemy types and setpieces, and all the secrets. The game is really amazing.
