Truly the most optimal of sanics.

I asked this a while ago but no one answered so sorry if i sound really redundant hehehe *cue the awkward moment*

But now that we reached the goal when is the game actually going to start production? im excited to see the Animation streams and such.

If I was them, I'd prob take a day or 2 rest, as the campaign is one stressful thing.. then get right into the thick of it

They plan to start in January. Since thyey need to set up office and such. Also to rest after prototype creating and IGG stress.

Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa...

Who Is Dis... uh... Guy? Gurl? Idk...

View attachment 12406

Is this person going to be in the game? If so... nice design.

Edit: Okay it's a guy. I see his chest. But dang man that hair, he's rocking it.

Oh right, this guy.
He has very nice hair.

I really hoped all the revealed Incarnations would be playable, tho...

There we go, we finally arrived at the deadline.

The campaign gathered $1'867'650 by that moment and automatically switched to InDemand, as seen by some slacker-backer donations already happening.

Congrats to Lab Zero as well as to everyone who donated and/or spread the word!

Now we play the waiting game and get hyped for the development news to come over the next 2 years.

@Mike_Z If you're ever within like, 2 meters of a Wii U and that Wii U has Wonderful 101 popped in, you should play it when you get the chance :U
Also VC Super Metroid plays really nice displayed on the gamepad or something.

Yo, we got a pretty boi.

Still no story or name for him.

RIP Scottsman and Whistler.

My inner Vega fan is raging.

I wanted to dislike this guy but I'm just jealous i can't be this hot.

Now my question is, who isn't going to be playable? I'm guessing Kushi (her Roc will be actually the equivalent of Final Fantasy's floating ships), Kaldi (he will just prepare special items for you if you bring him coffee beans), Zahra (she'll unlock a sound test), Nuna (dunno, she looks too innocent to fight) and Hassam (maybe he'll just improve your items through special methods involving Iddhi). I suppose my dream of having a huge playable party, ala Chrono Cross, died to save L0.

He's pretty sexy, I'll give him that. Not my Husbono (or how ever that's spelled XD) as I'm not a fan of his face... it gives off an arragant and cocky attitude.

What? I was under the impression all revealed Incarnations will be playable so far. And Kaldi has his throwing sickle things.

And I completely thought new char was a chick on stream. Whoops.

I think it's safe to assume that all the incarnations revealed so far will be playable. Kushi and Altun should be able to fight together a la Nakoruru (also, it doesn't hurt that she got a character trailer). Kaldi wouldn't have all those knives and not be able to use them; he's definitely going to carve up some fools. Zahra will most likely be a bard type, possibly a low damage melee attack, but with a focus on buff and debuffs. Nuna is definitely playable; part of her story is strengthening herself through battle. Hassam was said to be one of the strongest Incarnations during tonight's stream, so he's gonna' fight for sure.

Unless I misheard (and I hope so, because my headphones suck and I was feeling sleepy, so maybe I didn't understand what Mariel said at the moment), they're going to pick who is going to be playable and who isn't. Please, for the love of everything, please tell me I'm wrong or that I just misheard her.

All I understood for 100% is that not everyone revealed is actually playable. Kinda bummer. :( Wish they said that earlier, cause that's some pretty heavy blow to the hype.

Yeah, of course, in the end everything is subject to change, but I have a really good feeling that those who have backstories so far will join the fray.

At the very least, Lanshi was confirmed playable by the team, so there's that... :P

FYI Nuna is capable of fighting.

The third daughter of the chieftain of the Wakinyan, Nuna shares her sisters' gift - the ability to commune with nature. Drawing on the blessing of the Deohako, she can attune herself to all kinds of vegetation, encouraging them to grow and blossom. But she is young, and does not yet know the full extent of her abilities.
Together, the three sisters provide their tribe with an almost unending bounty. Recently, they have begun to share their surplus with neighboring tribes, hoping to form a Tribal Union and bring an end to the long years of relative isolation.

Being the youngest daughter and her father's obvious favorite, many in the tribe feel that she must venture away from his coddling to truly grow and mature. Though she doesn't flinch at hunting animals, the thought of hurting other people upsets her, and a future leader cannot ignore the reality of violence. Understandably reluctant to leave, Nuna is nonetheless excited to share her gift with others and experience more of the world and its flora.

She has nature power that has potential for evolution. Nature is flexible and can be manipulated as a weapon or maybe even a support role. She has experience hunting so she is not shy hurting/killing animals which naturally means she can fight, but currently prefers not to hurt actual people. She has this whole journey premise too where it sounds like being with Anja will help her become a leader.

The first time I heard them say that any revealed incarnations would be unplayable was during this last stream, which was also the first time I heard Mariel speak about the subject. I get the impression that the ideal plan is still to make them all playable, if they can, but they need to be realistic about the workload. Certainly nobody in that room was going to act like anything was set in stone at this point, apart from the Guest Characters being playable.

Honestly, I'm just happy this game is FUNDED!! Even if they have to send a few characters to the bench in the end, I know this team will do whatever is necessary to put out the best game they can.

There is a bit of disappoinment in hearing that not every revealed character might not be playable because I have been hyping that up since each of them have been revealed over the course of campaign but then like with what @KaboomKid said above I am confident Lab zero will be able to do their best with what they have planned.

Also hoping my team idea is actually made up of playable ones.

Keep in mind, "revealed" includes the first promo video. I can guarantee you that at least one of those characters (who did not get a bio during the campaign) was designed as not playable from the very beginning, so her statement can be true and still not depressing. :^) We have learned to be as honest as possible, because if we said "everyone revealed is playable" then I can also guarantee that someone would be mad about that character later.
If you still wanna overreact and be depressed, by all means go ahead. :^P But do it with ya facts straight.

Noted, but I doubt I will be.

Plays really nice on my SNES, too. :^)

OH MAN IT'S OVER GOODNIGHT.

Well it's hard to do something with facts straight when there weren't any straight facts given. :P For me that trailer was more about "teasing" than "revealing".

If it would be applied to the ones in trailers, that would be OK cause it's understandable that as early as was it done, some incarnations could be left out.

If it would apply to anyone from the campaign that would be a bit worse, as I believe it was at least implied (by not correcting) all of them would be playable.

Anyway I still believe in your decision making, guys.

Oh wow this entire time I figured all the incarnations being revealed were playable...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So what would the non-playable incarnations even do? Do they chill with the rest of the playable ones in Ajna's inner-realm?
