J-Stars Victory Vs

hows does sportsman fighting though?
sports is not fighting
there has never been a fighting sports
how does win the sports points if there is fighting?
where is the sports ball in a fighting?
fight sportsing makes no sense and is a silly
have you even read slam dunk?
there's SEVERAL chapters where Sakuragi fights.
hell, there's a mini-arc where he and the team are trying not to fight.
then they fight.
he doesn't even have to use a basketball.
he literally stun gun headbutts people.
like, all the time.

that doesn't sound like good sportsmanship

This is most likely the PS4 version, but it DOES appear to run more smoothly compared to the Japanese version, and the subtitles seem well and good enough

Just reminder that no one got cut in the localized release despite the rumor floating around.

they better not have cut anyone.
including Gintoki
especially Gintoki.

I really wish they'd have tried to get English Voice Acting. I feel that quite a bit of the casual fanbase that WOULD be here would be more interested if the characters were in English. The power of being able to understand what others are saying without subtitles, and being a game packed with a ton of recognizable characters from your childhood and a buncha ppl you don't recognize...I dunno, I just feel the price of doing it would have been worth it for a game like this.

Looking at the original post, it says there are upcoming characters. It also says it was last updated in January of last year. Has the roster changed at all since that last edit?

I can't trust anyone but Crispin Freeman to voice Gintoki.
anyone else is inadequate.
even your favorite voice actor.

If you mean my post. I fell behind on updating because of some issues back then.

Yes, there are more characters in the game than the ones listed on the first page.

Basically, I lost my way.

Soo I have played this game a short while at my cousins place.

And I really hate Nübë. Not only has he a long range stun that last very long, but that barrier is OP. It's around him and he can go around with it. Projectiles can't get past it and you can't eather. And I dunno if it's his guard break, but that light attack I can't guard against (I think?) has way to much range!

Yeah I got the + version on my Vita and played some multiplayer with another Vita owning friend [because fuck that horrible split screen format for the console version what were they thinking?].

Fuck Bamco for locking out screenshots within the game

Tossed around maining Gintoki, Ichigo, and Kenshin. Overall it's a fun game for some casual sessions especially with that character variety kind of like my relationship with Smash games, but really hate how KD enemies get a million frames of invincibility on wake up. Should have just gave a wakeup attack, less invincibility [stops the moment you get up], or maybe even a limited burst if they were intimidated about the idea of two characters ganging up on a single character and won't let him get up. Also don't understand why some character supers ends in your character being KO [Ichigo for example] because while some of that makes sense to the story material it really is stupid game mechanics wise.

Still got some fun off this game especially having Gintoki Kamehameha Goku.

I just got it from the flash sale, uh... Anyone still playing it?

also Sano you piece of shit Reborn (with or without Tsuna) literally makes this game high tier

also RIP Jotaro and DIO. Maybe they'll come out... Someday.

I play a bit on my Vita to kill some time. I alternate between Ichigo, Gintoki, and Kenshin with Kagura assist. It's one of those fighters you play for the roster novelty then actual competitiveness like a more extreme example of MvC3 for me. Those million invisibility frames after every KD, how some character super attacks kill themselves after using [to be fair though they make sense in context, but there should have been a much less harsh penalty like gradual health drain or something], and lackluster balance kind of made sure of that. I heard the console local versus interface is horrible too. Still have fun with the game though and wouldn't mind if they add more characters since there are plenty they could still add from franchises that had little to no attention.

Like Yu-gi-oh and Yu Yu Hakasho. Like, wasn't Yi-Gi-Oh the face of Shounen Jump for awhile? I'm surprised the series has absolutely no appearance in the game at all.

the only characters you should know are Gitnoki, the JoJos, Kenshin Himura, YuYu Hakusho characters, and the Hokutos. oh and bobobo.

everyone else is irrelevant or overrated.

this shit right here is just that: shit

Oh you're talking about that.

I was mainly being a fucker and making a stab at the popular series, like One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto.

Yu Yu actually got decent rep with three playables. Yu-Gi-Oh might be because of Konami.
