Diary cleaned up. Deleted alot. Added a bit ALOT. Currently on hiatus from SG for the foreseeable future. Planned Return: Fall 2016.

TODO tl;dr be a lab monster again
  • Practice BnBs for all characters on all character weights until consistent.
  • Optimized and assist-specific combos. CH combos. Tag combos. Resets.
    • SOID3 has alot of potential as a reset tool due to being an overhead with 2k+ or so damage, like a harder hitting, charging version of Horace birdkick, and it can be totally noncomittal for the assist if called and then the opponent is crossed up so that they are sandwiched between the Peacock and the Point. It also allows for conversions not otherwise possible in any situation, or possible with 1 or 2 other assists at most, if not none at all, such as OTG off Grab Bag (big damage, 1ResetToDeath), extensions from SSJ into Taunt ATrain TubaTubaTuba, fullscreen conversions into combo off of SSJ raw or Brass/ATrain SSJ.
  • Character Kill Combos in 3 meters or less, 1x ratio. If possible, 3v2 and 3v3 ratio.
  • How to use LNLH, Excella, George L, SOID3, and BE L/M in neutral properly.
    • Can George L and/or SOID3 be fullscreen conversion tools for Big Band and Bella given the right circumstances? What are they?
  • How to deal with getting pushblocked and staying in efficiently. This also means utilizing Fuzzy Gaurd, particularly with BB and Peacock.
    • Fuzzy Gaurd is hitting an opponent blocking high, and utilizing their high stance during blockstun while they switch to blocking low, to hit them with an overhead, usually one that's not possible on a crouching opponent .
    • This has been my achilles heel to my offensive pressure with Bella.
  • Defending against offenses with lockdown assists. Particularly Squigly, Eliza, Fortune, Robo.
  • Practice MOVEMENT.
  • Practice effective zoning. Zoning is tied with movement and spacing!
    • In addition to zoning, how do I zone and pick up momentum against zoning shells meant to stifle the opponent into the corner? Teams such as any combination of Peacock, Fukua, Parasoul, and Robo, with Love Dart, Napalm Shot, Beam, and any Peacock projectile assists. See: Skarmand, Lawnba.
  • Take note of the entire casts + On Block moves.
  • Video: How to Parry and Punish every Super with a HCH (sHP starter) Full Combo
  • Video: How to Parry and punish most common approaches and options.
  • Video: PBGC Parry. When is the tool an appropriate reversal?
  • BB Offensive Pressure and utilizing (air) Parry as an oki tool to bait/cover reversal and reversal super options. Used to be good at that.
  • Utilizing Meaties: Throwing a move on a recovering opponent that's active on frame 1 of wakeup.
    • Understanding EVERY character's meaty options.
  • How the hell do I deal with Headless Fortune? Snap the bitch?
    • I need to watch the archives of FuLLBLeeD:, Dhoppler, LazyDiablos, and Elda Taluda playing in previous tournaments, in addition to watching the Skippy McYay reset video, to understand the offense and resets and tools better.
  • How the hell do I deal with Filia, with each and every character I have?
    • How do I deal with literally almost everything being plus on block, including and not withstanding sHP, sHK, and Hairball, besides reversal assist?
    • Peacock: Practice PBGC cLK AA punish into full comboagainst instant overheads, Updo, and Fuzzy Gaurds.
    • Bella: instant mash5A (jLP) is an option for everything. What about AA sLK?
    • Band: Uh. Hm. Be patient?
  • I'm fairly decent in reading certain things and throws and can throw tech decently.
    Always room for improvement.
    • Throw Teching against Low/Throws by Fortune and Filia. Crouch Block and release on throw tech. Hardware note: A fightstick/thumbstick with a heavier spring returns to neutral quicker. Modding possibility for upperhand.
  • Pick up and Learn Painwheel... ......? Maybe also Beowulf?
  • Find time to learn all of this. Jesus.

*Ahem* i'm dreamepitaph/#fukuatwerkteam
O-oh so that's what you meant, I had tossed both of those names on the player list
Generally that player list should be ignored because it totally needs some research and stuff done on it.
Also I should get to commentating that Sarnatorio rematch... On Thursday, yeah, that sounds like a plan.

Welcome to the Western Hemisphere Isa!

He's from germany

...Forgot about that. I just kinda glanced at people's profiles and, ah, I thought he was from Trinidad and Tobago. :P

I'm silly and tired.
Thanks Fen. Fix'd.

As mentioned though, that part is a serious WIP. There's alot more to fix and write there, I'm just lazy and not doing more of it tonight.

Reserving post so I can comment later, jello from tapatalk at 3:45 pm ...

My team may be a different one
If it's not, then it's still a different one (Para/Bella/Pea)
My PC is back btw so hey

I got tagged in here twice and neither of them actually happened
Maybe because of the spoiler? Forum pls

No idea what to say on your playstyle

Not commenting on the other thing

Well, when I'm feeling less bum from the past all nighters of studying, I'll be asking for matches but for now, I kinda just want to just chill. As for the playstyle, I kinda boil down to a lot of offense and pressure. You'll see some stuff eventually, hopefully soonish... I won't promise, because with my luck something extra is gonna get in my way just for saying that. :p

Changed the spoiler stuff and... thinking about moving player studies to a google doc, that'd be hella more manageable.

lmao my idea of short and sweet

man i really should try getting to upload all these damn sets sometime

"Do what works"
I'm gonna be brooding on this thought

tl;dr I'm sorry that this is tl;dr but read anyways!
Casuals with @Stuff and @klone. Both of you butts get in here, if you got some questions ya better
Their were some issues with execution for both you and me Stuff and I'm pretty sure you felt the lag, but, ah, well
Klone, come on man, whatever happened to stomping me out, come on. Dhoppler's the last one standing in my way to Fuzzy, and his (Headless) Fortune/Peacock/Big Band matchup is getting my ass in hard cause bad decisions. :^)

I went over these matches while in my java class and took some notes, they're not really good notes it's more like feeling myself on what I did good, I'mma criticize myself outside of that. Number denotes round count, cause I'm dumb and I should've wrote time numbers but I didn't.

I'm gonna apologize about the stream audio because Twitch is D I C K S and they went ahead and muted a buttload of it because music. tbh that should be fair use but, hell with it, really thinking of moving to Hitbox.tv for Skullgirls and anything I really want to keep audio on. I know Hitbox isn't the most visible, but, it provides a FANTASTIC service. No lag, no dick mods, no sellout douchebaggery. And with that rant out, here we go:

I appreciate and would love all crtique! Smooches in advance! Smooches!

Stuff 0:00:00-0:45:00 | Klone 0:45:00 The reset, pretty much
I need to stop diving so hard and respect BE, or else I'm gonna get SCOOPED and, Ms Fortune can corner carry that shit like no tomorrow and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (shade). Also I'm eating hella CH damage on my assists at certain times when I'm going full ham with offense or just straight calling it badly in such a way that I get counter called, or calling it while I cross up into the corner for the reset to be blocked and for me to get effed in the B. I STILL need to play more zoner Peacock, I guess... I dunno, maybe? I feel like I've struck a fine balance between Zoner and Rushdown. As for Big Band, my parry, yomi, and neutral game is almost back on point. I need to be safer about my parry strings and reversal more effectively. I need to reversal sooner when they're not close to the ground so they don't fast fall through and be able to block s.lp or Beat Extend, and use c.LP for Ms. Fortune's low profile bum, too. If I parry and don't confirm off of it in a timely fashion I need to go back to blocking it out and jumping from the last hit of their parried normal to avoid any low/throw possibilities and hit with a safer overhead like j.lk, or maybe, and this is a big maybe, crossup j.mk. Or just plain jump forward j.lk j.mk to get out of the corner. With my parry tech, Double's Luger into behind-you Swag Wagon is a completely parryable situation, so I should expect this and do this when I feel the Double is gonna try to cheese me.

Match commentary, will update later
8-8
Lost FT2, Won FT3 FT5 FT7 FT8
LLWWWWLLWWLWWLLL
Got warmed up after 2. Was a bit laggy. Also apparently Stuff doesn't play this team. My butt!
20-26? I need to recount.
I lost the last 6 rounds cause I was just too tired, it was like 2am goddamn
Won FT2, FT3, FT5...FT20
WWLWWLLWW...eventually it got pretty even and he overtook me in the end cause BLUGH
:^)
oh hey by the way kansas city can't double snap aayyy
I also played @Dhoppler this morning (which I recorded, and is uploading), and then later this morning, @Negus Eyoel (which I didn't record ;-;). My apologies to Negus that I didn't bring my top game and made really dumb decisions and mixups, and man that Fortune completely disrespected my Peacock's projectiles and I need to work on some key matchups, especially with regards to her. Damn low profile stuffing my Big Band...

I need to diversify and go at plenty of opponents and I'm gonna bust my butt to be ready for Combo Breaker as much as possible. This is my first Major and I want it to be good one. I can MAYBE settle for making it out of pools, maybe, but, I can do better than just that, I'm sure of it. I'm gonna study my butt off for CB, and I AM GOING TO ROCK THE CASBAH AND UPTOWN FUNK IT UP. Also gonna start dumping tech. Probably still won't participate much in beta discussion, cause busy, but I should try and show off some of the tech, no better time than now I guess on the way up to Combo Breaker!

LASTLY, by the way, my "drinking age" birthday is this Sunday on the 19th and I'm thinking of doing a rapidfire birthday kumite cause lmfao if you think I got the money to go rent out some place, ahahaha. So, should I go on and give it a go, would anyone join it? Well, I guess I'll find out!

Definitely not going to get smashed though, to hell with that I gotta get up 6 o'clock class the day after and an exam the day after that.

I'll say what I tell everyone when they fight me: SNAP IN BIG BAND WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG YOU HE'S MY WORST CHARACTER YOU'LL WIN I PROMISE <--- To this day NO ONE does this and it PISSES ME OFF what the hell is everyone afraid of?

Also it's not that I don't play that team it's more that I'm still new to it and don't fully understand it yet (and it's in the wrong order and I don't have cat slide assist readily available to me) but like that's not something to care about wins are wins.

Quick post while i go from school to work! Heh, duly noted. Others do this plenty with their teams, and they typically always pit their strongest on point, mid if for dhc in, and anchor for raw tag. But I don't try to just diagnose their wrakest, I diagnose the strongest char they have, as well. And focus on killing the strongest, unless your assists are too strong for me to handle and your defensive ability to not get opened up by me is strong enough that I can't confirm comfortably., in which I will try to get the weakest. I try to countercall for that ch damage if I can on assists, but I end up just going ham.

Off to work, for now! I'll get your commentary /analysis later, hopefully tonight

Quit running Cerecopter/Brass behind Peacock. If you're going to be as aggressive as you are with her, you need to learn set play using beat extend. Watch mcpeanuts.

Learn to zone with Peacock. Lock n load will help you as well as, if not better than, Brass will. Watch swiftfoxdash.

Git gud so I can use you as a proper training partner instead of a live action training dummy.

Tumble run, stop it. It's not going to get you in.

Reversal sooner when parrying with Big Band. There's no reason to parry a full a string unless you wanna swing your dick. Your dick's not worth swinging so use the nice invincible reversal option that starts with pushing forward.

You're too eager to parry. I don't even have to think very hard or very often on how to trip you up because of it. An empty jump here, a twitch there, a grab right before this assist hits.

@klone is washed up, b

Man I practically quit running that team/assist like a year ago. You know I roll Beat Extend/LNL H. Occasionally I might pick A Train M instead, but I don't really use copter at all. Brass is something that I may, rarely, use, in the vs Peacock mirror match, but 99% of the time, it's my standard trio with standard assists. I'm considering and looking into duos and I need to get used to playing with them again; it's different than trio, requires you be strong, gain a lead, don't lose a character/get bloodied with red health, and make the opponent lose a char first. Which I'm keeping in mind when I fight against duos.

You're right about setplay though, I need some better things aside from all the M Item Drop + assist oki setups and employ hard counters better. Also I gotta bunch more resets and I gotta start using 'em. Tryed 'em out yesterday live.

My zoning game cooould use some improvement, yeah.

Say what you want but tumbling run is godlike. I need to use it smarter though at times, yeah. Kanchou and Kanchou feint are pretty good, but nonetheless vulnerable.

You're right, I do need to parry and reversal more correctly and as possible asap. I moted this before in the post. Parrying multi hitting normals is rough. Some will even trade with Beat Extend at times. It's why sometimes I prefer parry stringing for the right opening, and there's also the benefit of not using my sound stun.

You right about trying to parry you, esp. your Big Band, and I understand that now. For you and some who aren't idiots that know how I am, block more and parry when you least expect it, like out of blockstring/pbgc or a certain reset I can see from a mile away, or I see an ambiguous 50/50 option select crossup/crossunder that would be better off parried (Double comes to mind)

Really, though, in general, I have trouble with these matchups: Peacock vs Fortune, vs Val, and vs Big Band (her bad matchups p much, with BB being like, 60/40-40/60 depending on things, momentum, position etc.)

I'm really putting into overdrive with Big Band and secondarily Peacock cause she's just about as good as my Bella.

I got more stuff cookin', on the way

@alexpi @Midiman I wanta pick up Eliza. From as I've heard she's like Val/Para with her godlike normals, great pressure, and she has really nice damage? What do y'all gotta say on her?

Other characters I'm looking at:
Beowulf: Amazing dmg, ground dash hi/lo shenanigans everything he does is a reset, GRAPPLERSSSSS
Parasoul, awesome normals, nuetral tools, zoning, okay/meh damage

I'm probably fine the way I am though, I got this synergy thing down

new chars means new synergy to get in, and I don't think I should focus on any of 'em when I can make things for my trio and relearn duo synergy between my 3

vs @KhaosMuffins 4/20 smosmo (don't smosmo kids)

11:34 PM - Zephyrel: I'll parry something fully and be like
11:34 PM - Zephyrel: "Yea"

11:35 PM - KhaosMuffins: For some reason, every time I see a Big Band player parry something, they suddenly want to parry everything. It just kinda makes me want to keep doing empty jumps to blow up parry attempts.

Well, it's been awhile hasn't it

I'm here at combo breaker and this morning, I'm just incredibly nervous and scared

Nervous and scared of interacting like, probably most the community

I had some good fun and laughs with @BroseidonRex, @Pickles, and @clawsomeBombs at the salty suite

I'm not in the SGIRC which, have been tyically pretty calming for me to get into socializing, and there when I got questions to ask

Got room in the room to put my pc setup under the table and the monitor up by the TV, but I guess FB ain't havin' it

And I got absolutely bodied by @mcpeanuts 7-0 by Peacock Big Band with Brass H assist and it felt really awkward and I fumbled around trying to figure out how to play this matchip and his careful zoning style, looking for holes, and got rekt. Finally figured I should go with the stupidest and smartest decision and just play the damn mirror match on the last round. Still got rekt but it didn't feel quite as bad

Saw a bunch of folk this morning, even @dapurplesharpie, and I didn't have the heart or guts to say hello

So nervous
"Just do it." claws said two nights ago, on wednesday
You right
there is no need
just, do it

Thinking of all the times I've tried talking to people and asked questions or for matches or just wanted to shoot the ship and never got any responses back, just total silence

I always hated that, still do
Kinda fairly bitter, and I'm going to hold that

I still think mirror matching me was the right call. I felt like the main issue was youd give up the zoning advantage at the start of the round, once you lose advantage its really hard to get it back. Prioritize getting bombs on screen before the other Peacock. Also H Brass sometimes as Big Band, you were not making me scared of that move. If I see you parry I know you dont have charge so I can kinda do whatever I want.

Here we go. I guess. I have been largely away from Skullgirls since Combo Breaker for a plethora of reasons, but nonetheless, despite not practicing, I still went and attended our local Maxout a week and a half or so back, having picked the game up two days prior and had a bout with TJ and WingZero, whom bodied me at the time and abused me doing really dumb things I shouldn't have been doing and don't normally do as much as I did; too much rawtag, too much MP Bang. I cleaned myself up a little, being able to make it to Winner's Finals against Fuzzy Snugs, having beaten and putting Ryden Onkars and then Dhoppler into Loser's.

Congratulations, I made it to Top 4 in our local of a small handful of people and legitimate threats, made it without getting smacked into loser's 'til finals.
Slightly worrying about the counterpick trio that Fuzzy was going to pull on me, which as I can distinctly recall now, unusually, Double, Squigly, Eliza (there are few teams that I remember without looking back at footage, so I feel good that I can remember and keep this particular team synergy in mind), and that I wouldn't be able to deal with him with my normal team order and go-to trio, Peacock, Big Band, Bella, I decided to swap out and put Bella on point, and Peacock anchor. I don't know what the hell I was thinking tbh in retrospect why such a team order would be a good idea, as I'm not familiar with playing Bella point on that team much at all, and I quickly got the crap beaten out of me in a glorious 3-0 and I was so dumb as to not even repick my characters on the first loss. That was just mistake number 1. Then I go to Loser's Finals nearly beating Dhoppler 2-0, only to gloriously lose and choke 3-2 as he ran it back, and then, got 3-0'd by Fuzzy. Which is kindofa damn shame because I had my goal within my hands and I beefed it on all accounts within my ability, to hell with any rust that was on my hands and controller. The feeling of disappointing Kansas City weighed on my shoulders.

The Challonge for that Maxout can be found here. http://challonge.com/MOJun15SG
The "Top 4" recording:
No Johns. Sometime this week I'm gonna go over this footage again and commentate on all of it, because that's what a good player should do right.
Also lol @ the lab monster comment by AlexPi, you know at this point it's almost true, except I'm not even labbing at all, much less playing many games atm. Also my neutral is good, just not the best! If I can get the advantage and pressure going, anyways, I can do quite well and pass, but under pressure I really need to improve my defense more, especially against particular characters resets and player-unique resets. It might be the whole, not practicing thing, HMMM yeah

Then, upon seeing Defoxschool, and still having not played really since MO, I decided to pick up the controller again and go for some NEUTRAL PRACTICE. Yeah, not matchup practice, no, I wanted the most brutal team they had in neutral, Sonic's main team Fukua Eliza and Sage's pocket main trio, Double Fukua... Eliza, and I got outright BODIED by those two. But I did pick up on some things and they're on my mind, even though I'm not playing the game these days much at all.

The Defoxschool recording is here: http://www.twitch.tv/zsonicfox/v/6476120
The timestamp for my sets, are here: http://www.twitch.tv/zsonicfox/v/6476120?t=16m000s

I should also go and watch the areas of particular people who went up here, too. I noticed LazyDiablos was the first one, I remembered him from CB! And I've played him on online randoms a couple times, he's really nice and I should play him more, as I should also play everybody, more, really
I know that Dhoppler went up there and I want to watch those sets again. I remember him taking a win against Sage(?), but I'm prettu sure Sage wasn't exactly using a main team. Nonetheless, still gonna watch it.

Also, I STILL deadass owe everyone at Combo Breaker a shoutout but I don't feel like reviving that forum thread, so I'm gonna give all my love in this little training diary. On a later post perhaps tomorrow. I still want to aim for the top, I still want to be the first to usurp Fuzzy's crown, but my feelings atm are more relaxed and chiller as I worry about other things. I'm still in this thing. 'Til the next update and more thought, Zeph out I guess.

It is goddamn 6:30 in the morning but hey, update
I commentated and went over my previous matches. It's yet to be highlighted and put to video but honestly I don't think I need to put it up
After I did that, Went and played a longass set of casuals with @Mayor of Earth over the course of the 5 hours, and came to realize some things that led me to really excel in the end and allowed me to beat 'em fairly nicely, and I'm kinda happy that I overcame a struggle where I was so wondering about the matchup and defense and dealing with things.

I realize that I -EXCEL- at Rushdown Peacock and upclose and mid-range away, especially with my assists to aid me. Instead of immediately running back and tossing projectiles only for my crap to get pushed in in the corner and die brutally, I pushed forward and aimed to brutalize and stuff my opponent as much as possible and make it as difficult to move and do things as they did me if I hadn't pressed. My punishes were on point. My combos were on point, but still need a bit improvement! I managed to hit confirm a few times into my modified LNL H assist Peacock Combo that does ABOUT as much as TJ's, and runs 2-3 k above the normal combo I originally had. This is good and I need to do this more because that combo is super hot ass fire and sets me up nicely. As for defense, I need to REALLY work on my PBGC's, and cleaning up some execution errors. There were more than a whiffed/stuffed Lennies that were supposed to be DHC'd into Showstopper only to fail, I guess I wasn't churning the butter hard enough. Also, my throw techs were hella on point, and so was my parries when I played Peacock Big Band Bella for the first third, and then went to Peacock Bella for the later 2/3's. Also hella good reads, I kinda turned into a reset monster at times and took out full health chars on some last legs. Really good CH punishes and assist punishes too.

Feeling much better over my neutral and footsies, my matchups with Peacock, my yomi, my oki, my hairtrigger punishes and my everything. And it can only get better from here on out as I actually begin to work on and start playing more Skullgirls instead of being eh about it. I can feel some fire!

I pushed forward and aimed to brutalize and stuff my opponent as much as possible and make it as difficult to move and do things as they did me if I hadn't pressed.

This seems to be on par with some of my observations lately. Having dynamic tactics is nowhere near as prevalent as instant corner pressure until you hit the top end.

Sage last night recommended you learn my combos and resets. Here they are for reference:

c.LP c.MK c.HP s.HK + call Beat Extend xx M item drop (hold),
j.LK j.HK,
release Item,
j.MK j.HK,
j.MP j.HK,
j.HP ADC,
j.LP j.MP,
s.LP c.MP c.MK c.HP s.HK xx H item (hold) xx Argus Agony,
Release Item (triggers undizzy)

The reset is just before you release the item. Delay it so it uncombos. You can either walk under them or not to get a left/right. Advantages of this reset are that it can be made pretty ambiguous, they recover in the air so they can't ground reversal or tag, it beats any kind of mashed normal, it's safe from all air supers, and the combo you get off it does 10k.

First air series can be replaced with j.HK ADC j.HK. You have to watch your undizzy if you do that, though. If you do the reset, you don't have enough undizzy to do j.HK ADC j.HK in both the first and second combo. I usually do j.LK j.HK for the first combo then do j.HK ADC j.HK after the reset. If you don't wanna think about all that which is fair just do j.LK j.HK all the time.

The last ground series can be ended with c.HP xx M Gun xx Argus if you're planning to DHC. That's how I end it most of the time either way honestly.

Instead of the left/right reset you can also air grab. You can then either drop the item you're charging during the air grab animation, or if you want Huge Damage you can keep charging it. By the time the air grab ends it will be up to level 3. This will let you do this combo:

air grab,
release level 3 item,
j.HP ADC,
j.LK j.HK, land,
call Beat Extend and charge M item,
j.LP j.LK j.HK,
release level 2 item,
s.LP c.MP c.MK c.HP s.HK xx H item (charge) xx Argus Agony,
release level 3 item

This does 7k for 1 bar which is pretty good off an air grab.

If I land a hit and Beat Extend isn't available (which is usually because I started the combo with Beat Extend), I usually go for a quick reset. I don't like to waste all my undizzy on a scaled combo, given how much damage the Beat Extend assisted combos do.

I am reminded of how unoptimal my combos were in comparison to both yours, Peanuts, and to TJ's, with the average cruddy BNB I currently confirm things into with Peacock. I'm still trying to work in the labbed up stuff and combos on confirm in actual matches hahahaha.

TJ told me how much his Peacock-Bella BNB's go for a month or so back that led me to go optimize my stuff, like my Bella BNB that I still never really confirmed into. He has 10k for one meter, and I think 13k for 2 or 3 meter. I'll have to connect base with him sometime or watch some more footage for his BnBs.

Your goto Peacock-BB combo, McPeanuts, does 8.8k for 1 meter with item drop end, 9.4k~ with DHC into SSJ

My go to Peacock-Bella combo (which I need to practice actually confirming into instead of the typical BnB that I end up dropping), does 9.5K with an Item Drop end. I got:
1 s.LP s.MP LNLH Assist c.HP xx M Item Drop (hold)
2 (insta) j.MK j.HP ADC Item Release (Lvl 2)
3 s.MK
4 j.MP j.HP ADC
5 j.LP j.MP
6 s.HP s.HK xx Item Drop H (otg), dash
7 s.LP c.MK c.HP s.HK xx Item Drop H (hold) xx Argus

Chain 7 is a little iffy to dash in and get it tight enough to do the s.HK + Item Drop in, but can be fixed with practice and being used to the dash link, and replaced with

It can also be substituted with L Bang Item Drop H Argus, which is a little tight after the bang to do with stagger recover on but easily manageable, for similar damage.

For 2 Meter I can replace Chain 6 with [s.LP c.MP c.MK c.HP xx Bang L xx Lenny xx Showstopper] to bring the combo damage up to 11.4k~
I can replace chain 5 with j.LP j.HK and safely tag in Bella upon my landing.

Finally, my Peacock Grab BnB is thusly, for 6.5-6.6K:
j.MK (otg) ADC j.HK (land)
c.MP s.MP
j.HP ADC
j.LK j.HK (land)
j.MP j.HP ADC
j.LP j.MP (land)
s.LP c.MP c.MK c.HP s.HK (Beat Extend assist - optional) xx Item Drop H Argus
ALTERNATIVELY c.HP xx Bang L xx Lenny xx Showstopper brings it up to 7.6k~ on the last chain.
It's about on par with yours and doesn't require an Item Drop at the beginning. I'm okay with this.

Things I need to find out:
Dynamo -> Lenny -> Full Combo with Lenny Detonate +Argus (maybe)

Combo/DHC notes (at max combo scaling):
Lenny adds 1045 to almost everything
Level 3 Item Drop adds 577
Level 2 ID adds 385
Diamonds Are Forever can add anywhere from 1260 at fullscreen to 1960 as close as possible
Diamond Dynamo is (60*8)+577= 1057
Ultimate Showstopper is (210*4)+70+2450=3360 (1254 from otg Lenny) [ALOT OF DAMAGE FOR 1 METER DHC]
Lenny -> Strike Up The Band is NOT a dhc you should do. Strike Up The Band does not move Lenny and will result in an unfortunate explosion
Strike Up The Band in corner adds 3.5k~, FullscreenDHC off of Argus adds 2.8K

Thing that works facing the corner and near the center of the stage: Hit confirm to small Combo, Lenny, Diamond Dynamo, cr.HP + Detonate (won't explode you), dash into corner, otg full Bella combo.

I'm considering at the moment to replace Beat Extend L with something else. Either Beat Extend H, H Brass, or M A-Train. Most likely Brass H though. Brass H had alot of synergy in my old optimized Bella combos for hella damage, which, I'm gonna have to go digging around to find in my youtube channel.

Comforting to know my Peacock-Bella midscreen BNB can TOD non-CH in 2v3, whether I want to switch out Bella or not, videos later tommorrow/today of some stuff in action and something REALLY STUPID I found, it's rediculous

I'm gonna show you how to REALLY confirm off of Bang M

I feel it's best for me to continue being on hiatus. I don't have the time to sink into this game really, and I hate playing. Hate playing with sloppy bad execution, not being able to do my BnB's, can't block well for beans, can't move well and get in and out, just generally not being tight and on my game. Every time I play I just feel terrible and I just can't ignore it any longer and am done even trying with SG until I can sit down and make time throughout every single week to hit the training room and practice, practice, practice, get my shit down, and be able to play others and GET SOMETHING FROM IT. Despite my previous itch to continue playing this game and playing it decently instead of like a flailing Magikarp. It's pathetic.

Shelving this diary until around the fall, when I can be back, and have my life and personal issues sorted out in the meantime to get me on a good foot. Solve my pad problems too. The face buttons and the select button activate my L1 (Assist 1 button) for whatever reason more than half the time they are pressed and I've gotten frustrated with that too. Never using PS3 pads again, their so uncomfy to handle, I got it as a brand new controller and it didn't last even past a year until issues cropped up, much less half a year.

In addition to programming and desigining things, I'm building a fightstick out of rosewood this month. It's gonna be the first step in the right direction. My goal is for that and also to get myself a 360-PS4 Brook adapter so I can finally play in peace and comfort with myself, because I've hit my breaking point with PS3 pads as of today. Thinking of building a pad too myself, if that could ever be a possible project for me. I'd hope so. I kinda want to write an essay on pads cause it's really interesting in design choices made, and also quality and types of parts, and designs of thumbsticks. In the history of gamepads, there's been plenty of bad ones, plenty of good ones, and those that have stayed through a true test of time and have lasted for more than a decade and hold up well. But all this is merely musing. I'll get there when I get there. I know I like to set goals for myself, other people can see that, but it's kinda bad and looks bad when I can't own up to the goals I set out cause I kept getting held back my stuff. I'm gonna keep tieing up loose ends. I'm cleaning up this diary for later, too, I want a clean slate when I come back to this.

The hiatus continues, now.

Updated Diary with a ToDo List of ideas and things to work on when I get back, to be on the right track.
You'll be at CB again at least right? : (

You'll be at CB again at least right? : (

Sadly, no. Not enough dosh. I need new tires in addition to the trip money and it's just overall, really not viable. On the bright side, I'm almost done getting on with my life after sorting out a bunch of problems in my personal life to do with family, college, work and getting on with my own life, and I'm building a fighstick out of wood with the money that wasn't all able to afford CB. I'll be taking pictures and posting them here and on Twitter. It'll be beautiful and an ode to the first fighting game I picked up competitively, and should help me fix my controller and execution issues once and for all, too. I'll be looking forward to seeing everybody at the next Major in the winter or fall, though, and next CB will be quite a blast. :> I just gotta sit this one out is all.
