Edit: The thread was created in attempting to understand why Eliza's DP does not trigger a true burst bait. At the time, I was unaware that her DP was classified as a projectile and created an ill-informed video in attempting to explain the phenomena. There have been many good responses to this, and @Skarmand has done a nice job of summarizing it:

If you hit someone with a projectile and they are allowed to burst said projectile, that burst is safe.

Eliza's DP is a projectile so that's why people can block it.
If you did DP launch (Undizzy) then jMK (Undizzy) backwards or something and they bursted after the jMK then it would be a proper burst bait.

Eliza's DP Pillars are not part of her body or anything like that, and they block projectiles because that's what happens when two projectiles collide. Eliza's just don't disappear.

You're right. I did a check to see if an ultra delayed burst had an effect and it didn't, big egg on my face it seems. The moral of the story? Don't listen to BlueFeena :^)

Edit: Since the thread was created around an erroneous premise there's not much point of keeping it here lest it generate confusion. It might be best for the mods to either lock it or throw it in the bin.

It may not be a proper burst bait, but it still leads to a setup.

@BlueFeena

If you hit someone with a projectile and they are allowed to burst said projectile, that burst is safe.
If this wasn't the case then you could have infinite burst baits from far away by looping projectiles.

This is solved twice though by also having a timer run from the first burstable hit, and if those hits go on longer than a set amount of time the burst is free no matter what.

Might want to add this information to the OP or something.

Also, as Triblue mentioned, it still leads to a setup.

It can provoke them to empty their undizzy and let you go for pressure even if it's not a true burst bait that leads into a guaranteed punish.
In either case, true or false burst baits, they still have the option of alpha counters, so be aware.
