How much practice did it take for you to learn the Parasoul napalm shot medium punch

Honestly it varies some people can do it *snap* like that. Some people it takes a while, just keep at it practice makes perfect.

This is coming from someone who's first real fighting game was SG.

day 2
got it twice and triggered ips yay

but still i land it llike 20% only sighzzzz
Is this sHP sHP > M Napalm Shot?
Or just doing M Napalm Shot in general when you want it.

its the l.napalm shot then mp i cant do consistently
Are you practicing it in the corner?
That's a 1F link in the corner, and sometimes a 1F link midscreen.

You should probably go for L Shot > sLP

a 1 frame link right, is that like REALLY hard or should i not worry because ive had like a few split training sessions about 4 hours now trying this and i feel bad
Parasoul is my main and I do not attempt L Shot > sMP when it's a 1F link if I'm playing in tournament.

I do it midscreen against the characters where it's not a 1F link.

It's better the further you are way from the opponent. If you're close enough to launch with cHP or do anything else, do that, or do shot into a light normal.
If you're far enough away, midscreen, that cHP would whiff, you do LShot sMP Egret Call. That is what it exists for, IMO.

It has to do with projectile travel time.

Isn't there like an input buffer so 1f links aren't actually 1 frame?

There is no input buffer on napalm shot links. There are 1f links in SG. Input buffers exist on certain things, though.

Input buffers generally exist on moves where most links afterward are 1-2f, which is not the case for Napalm Shot.

And yes, an actual 1-frame link with no buffer or help is actually REALLY that hard. 1f is the most difficult timing that exists in fighting games.
