Forum Problems and Feature Requests

Other/new issue: I can't link my Google Account to this forum. When I try to do so, here's what happens:

Still broken, but the error is different. Trying to upload the image to imgur, and now IMgur is being an ass. Here is a Google Drive Link to the file.

edit: requested steam add. hit me up whenever you have time, we'll be able to operate MUCH more efficiently than through forum pings :P

"fixed" this morning, but now instead of the text being all vertical the entire login box is the same light brown used in the top and bottom bars which makes it a bit hard to read the words

Request to add ctrl+Enter to function as "Post Reply"! I believe I mentioned this a while back. Just bringing it up again in case it's still easy/doable. :D

So the status on this is:
  • as before, there's the functionality of using Alt+S with the editor unfocused (I know, it's not exactly intuitive).
  • The code for how the editor works is deeper in the forum software than I'm willing to go messing with myself.
  • There is, however, an unofficial add-on that is supposed to fix this - I'll have another play with it when I get to my main computer.
Other than that, I'm not really sure what I can do short of hiring someone more familiar with the software to write a custom fix.

Currently, whenever I go to Skullheart.com it gives me an error message stating there was an error connecting to the server and leaves me on a white page with the error in the top corner. The web address is displayed as being skullheart.com/index.php. If I type in the Forum info or search up the thread I want via Google I can still get on, but going to the index still give me an error. If necessary I can try screenshotting it. This happens on my phone and pc, regardless of what internet I'm connected to.

this is happening to everybody, it's also in progress of being resolved but there is no ETA at the moment.
 
Hi, I also have a similar problem.
The front-page shows:

Skullheart - Error
A server error occurred. Please try again later.

The subforum index (and the other tab things erratically) shows the following on a blank white screen:

An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.

Messages also don't work.
I can 'start' new messages but I can't send the new message I've started.
Trying to view any current existing message shows the following error:

Skullheart - Error
A server error occurred. Please try again later.

Edit:
New development that's only happened since writing this,
I can no longer visit user profiles and they show the same "skullheart - error" message.
 
Looks like the site is back today, so good job fixing things. (It was interesting having a break from the site since Sat).

There's a good chance some additional changes have to be made for long-term stability but I will do this during my routine maintenance time and shouldn't cause more than a few minutes of the forums being unavailable - if at all.

For some reason, www.twitch.tv/game_realms doesn't show up on the stream tab unless it's submitted as an approved channel, even when it sets "Skullgirls" as the game being played on the channel.
 
What about setting it to SG: second encore?

I don't think there is a Skullgirls: 2nd Encore on Twitch.

Edit: looks like for the games added to be shown on twitch, the name Twitch calls it needs to be included, which is "Skullgirls" but wasn't included in the "Skullgirls" game profile for the stream tab.

Maybe they are gonna updating for "Skullgirls 2nd Encore", tought.
 
Could be a nightly build issue. If it's working on main browser releases then there's no point in me trying to fix it. My guess is that it's some CSS rendering issue.
 
I don't know if it's happening with anyone else, but twitter embeds being botched and only showing the top half has been back for a while...

Using the Vivaldi browser.

There are 4 SG streams up right now, and none of them are showing up in the streams tab.
I checked the game setting for the stream tab for SG and it should be working. I'm not sure what the problem is.

I honestly don't know because the issue before was game name wasn't defined in the setting, so I fixed that and it was working afterwards, but now it's not working again, and the game name is listed properly.
