But either way I am happy with Primarina (The healing status move is weird and just seems like adding salt to the wound of hating on Popplio's evo line more. But hopefully that sig move does more damage on the statused Pokemon [A cool idea would be after curing a status it would make the pokemon fall in love regardless of gender or lack of gender])

Incineroar is pretty cool. Finally I don't have to hear "I hope it doesn't turn into a Fire/Fighting again" anymore since it looked pretty obvious that it was Fire/Dark. Though this is another bipedal Fire Type which some will hate it for which I under stand.

Decidueye is the weirdest one for me but I still love it appearance wise. The one thing I am not big on is it losing its Ground immunity and being a bird that can be hit by earthquake (not counting on the turns a bird roosts). But i really hope this gets levitate as a Hidden ability so it can be immune to fighting, normal, ground. Though it has 5 weaknesses which the weird part being the bird being weak to flying types now.

One thing I notice about these starters is that when you think of it they all are 3 typings. each with 2 then a third for coverage. For example Litten3 will be a Fire/Dark with Fighting coverage, Rowlet3 will be a Grass/Ghost with Flying coverage, and Popplio3 will be Water/Fairy with probably Ice coverage. One thing I will criticize them for on the reveal on the starters is that they should have shown off their Hidden abilities. Cause no one cares at all about Torrent, Overgrow, and Blaze...

As for the Tapu's. only thing I am disapointing in with them is that the Bull isn't Fire/Fairy and the Dolphin isn't Ghost/Fairy to align with the Oricorio typings.

They're not showing Hidden Abilities because those won't be on the starters you get from Professor Kukui, and likely won't be released at all until later in the generation.

Not true. The 6 gen starters get his Hidden in the same game they born (thanks for the Friendly Safary). I wait the same to this ones.

Is sad some pokemons now still has his Hidden loked behind the dead Dream World...

(Thankful I got all of then...)

(and waiting for a new set of Hidden, starting with Greninja and his Battle Bound).
 
New Japanese trailer shows that Charjabug doesn't evolve into Vikavolt until lvl 40. Chance of being not-shit early game Bug intensifies
 
Minior also shown to get Shell Smash and Acrobatics, so I can see Weakness Policy being a popular item for it.

White herb might also be a good one to use on it since it guarantees the item use for acrobatics, and makes a less squishy core (although core naturally has weaker defenses). Either way I am super stoked to have it on my team. With its ~65 base HP, I hope Shields down works like Stance change where it flips its defense stats with its offense.

According to its entry on the site, that's how it should work
"With the Shields Down Ability, it will have excellent defensive capabilities as long as its shell is intact. It will also be protected from status conditions. But when its HP drops below half, its shell will break, and it will change to a form better suited to attacking."

Hopefully it gets a speed boost too.

Edit: I guess Weakness Policy would better suit say a set that sets up Stealth Rocks, and then goes for some sweeps. I do wonder what kind of Rock moves it will get. Head Smash would be suicide, and it's always frustrating having to rely on Stone Miss and Rock Slide.

Genesect now, Meloetta December. Probably we only can get Genesect and Meloetta in XYORAS, even with SuMo already unleashed.

Ultra Beasts are literally just Pokemon from an alternate dimension. As such, they all have actual names (as in, UB-02 Expansion is just a code name)

-UB-01 = Nihilego (Rock \ Poison)
-UB-02 Absorption = Buzzwole (Fighting \ Bug)
-UB-02 Beauty = Pheromosa (Fighting \ Bug)
-Spiky-haired thing with the plugs = Xurkitree (Electric)
-Detached arms UB = Celesteela (Steel \ Flying)
-Green and silver humanoid UB = Kartana (Grass \ Steel)
-Fat UB with stomach mouth = Guzzlord (Dark \ Dragon)
-Edgelord UB = Necrozma (Psychic)
-Marshadow is Fighting \ Ghost.
-Cosmog evo = Cosmoem
-Alolan Golem is Rock \ Electric.

Some old Pokemon had their stats buffed. Some also gained or lost abilities.

It's actually not an anchor Pokemon at all. It's a bundle of ghost seaweed \ moss that's using an anchor it found as a weapon.

Ah, I guess that makes grass/ghost make more sense. Still an amazing design. I'll definitely use it for my Sun playthrough.

Z-Moves used on Status moves have extra effects.

For example Z-Splash +3 Attack
Z-Destiny Bond has a follow me effect
Celebrate, Geomancy, and some other +1 to all stats
Z-Nature Power turns into Doom Bloom or Tectonic Shift(Ground Z-Move) depending on battle field
Z-Secret Power is alwasy Breakneck Blitz(Normal Z-Move)
Z-Belly Drum restores Hp before taking it away again so you can Belly drum under 50% HP
Z-Protect ups Crit rate
Z-Detect ups Evasion +1
Also Z-move attacks go through Protect but damage is reduced to 25%

That's actually better than Giga Drain now, which is insane. Are they leaving that and other draining moves unchanged?

The pokemons never get the real size for everyone, but the presence of the trainer in the battle only make this things worst...
