So, I found a thing:

Peacock gets hit while holding either left or right. Looking at it frame-by-frame, It seems like it has to do with how Peacock's hurtboxes change while she's walking. I'm speculating that it's a Peacock-specific interaction; I haven't been able to get anything similar to happen with other characters so far. It's not unavoidable though, for what it's worth; up-forward will actually block the j.MP properly, and the j.MP won't even hit Peacock if she crouches.

I'm not sure if it's worth fixing, but I figured I'd at least bring this to your attention, @Mike_Z
 
I'd like to provide a replay, but I'm not sure of the best way to record one for this. You can only generate them from vs matches, right? It's kinda to hard to verify that the issue is occurring unless you can reproduce the inputs exactly and try blocking both directions.
