I ran a tournament a few weeks ago for shits and giggles. It turns out people really enjoyed it and have requested that I do another tournament.

After a fair bit of requests, I've decided to do another. Now I'm not sure if this will be a monthly thing, a bi-weekly thing, a weekly thing, or what. I guess it depends on how well things go. I've also got a new microphone so now you can actually understand me when I talk.

The tournament is in round robin style. This means that each contestant will go up against the other. The contestants with the most wins will face each other off at the end.

Here is the link to the stream channel. The stream does have some naughty and crude language in it, so it won't be best to blast the speakers if your kids are around.

To add a bit more character to the stream, the music of the game will be muted and instead be replaced by random songs, much like a pirated Marvel vs Capcom 2 Dreamcast disc. I also can't guarantee the music I will play at times will be appropriate for all audiences only.

Here is the link to the tournament page which has a link to the sign in sheet. Take note that you are required to check-in prior to the tournament. The tournament starts at 8:00PM Central Time this Thursday (7/28/16) with check-in beginning at 7:30PM.

There is absolutely no skill ceiling for this tournament. Everyone from SonicFox to someone who just picked up the game this morning is welcomed to join. I wish the best of luck to everyone.

I will admit the tournament started out rocky but it ironed out in the end. Was surprised to see 27 viewers. That is absurdly high for a brand new stream.

I apologize for timing out and banning so many users on stream. I wasn't prepared for all of the viewers and couldn't keep track of all the comments so I attempted to multi-task and just time out anything that looked to be spam. The past stream had like very few people, and I was expecting so many people to come on during the most recent one

I also apologize for sounding angry, even if I was really doing it for show, but I can see how that could be annoying.

Either way, I promise for the next stream that moderation will be significantly more lax and allow viewers to enjoy themselves. In short I'm "Bringing the SGC Back" so to speak.

Thank you everyone who viewed the stream and I will be streaming next week if you would like to give the stream and chat a second shot. I promise it will be a more enjoyable experience.

EDIT - To add to all of this, I will be completely open to any additional comments and concerns of the stream, to improve the experience for everyone.

Edit: There is no justification or excuse for that kind of behaviour when it's in public or with people who aren't cool with it and you should all know this already.
It doesn't matter how "restrictive" his stream is. If it's too restrictive for you, then go to another stream.
