Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Sorry if this has been asked, i've been super out of the loop: But how does the Limited Edition physical copy work with PC as a platform? Is it DRM free? Is it steamworks?

IE, if I select PC for the physical copy and PC for my digital digital copy, would I be, essentially, be getting two steam versions of the game, and would I have to send one of them to somebody else for both to be used? Or would the physical one not be attached to steam or any particular digital distribution platform and the digital copy would be?
I'm assuming it's two different versions? Since you get to choose a steam digital copy and a physical PS4 copy it would make sense to get two copies right?

Is there going to be a site that keeps track of the funds from Upgrades? I'm guessing those amounts aren't going to show up on the IGG page, but it'd be cool if they did.

Going to wait a bit longer before we do it, but I'll add a weekly tally or something on the IGG page to reflect the total raised from BackerKit.

IGG's number won't be able to get the BackerKit info, so it'll be whatever IGG's number is + BackerKit number listed at the top of the campaign.

Wait hold up? I said it earlier before but aren't video game voice actors on strike right now? Won't that affect the VO stretch goal?

The Voice Actor strike is only targeting major studios like EA, Activision, Insomniac, etc.

Basically studios that use SAG talent and have enough success that residuals would be due.

I have one Mighty Stupid Question
How long would it take to start shipping the physical copies? Because i want the physical copy for pc for me and the code for a friend fos PS4
Edit: Also, can i upgrade my tier in backerkit with paypal?

I got the email and thought "i gotta get this survey done by the end of december? that's pretty soon" then I noticed the due date was actually December 2017.

So no rush, right?

The only tier I can see is the Tip Jar :(

Are you sure you're not in add-ons? Changing tiers is at the start before questions.

I'm guessing the answer to this is no, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask... Would it be at all possible for me to get a physical Linux copy? If it is doable I would be so thrilled, though I totally understand if not.
Asking again now that BackerKit is out, I guess it got missed before.

I´m a bit lost here. I did the survey and got a code for my digital downloads.

I choosed PS4 as my platform choice but the code says to be a Steam one, what is the code really for?

EDIT: Oh, its a steam code for another different game, got it.

I take that the digital extras are not ready yet.

If I was to guess, if you request the Steam physical version it will work on PC, Linux and Mac all the same. That's how most games on those platfroms work these days.

It's also how Skullgirls works currently.

Hey if we're still doing that "unique dialogue from NPC's based on what party member you have" thing would, like, those of us who bought backer npc tiers choose which characters they'd interact with? Or like would we submit a list of who we think they might interact with and they'd be balanced out?

I mean I remember Mike saying it'd probably just be 2 unique dialogues at best per NPC but good to know in the end.

Wait, so I was just trying to fill out my survey and the 75$ pledge doesn't come with a physical copy but the 60$ one does? I thought the higher tiers came with everything before them.

Kinda not happy right now since a physical copy was the thing I cared about the most.

Because the $75 dollar tier was added as a pure digital tier after people asked for it so there wouldn't just be a jump from 60 to 100 and for people that don't care for physical goods.

If you want the $60 tier, but still want to give a little extra, just use the Tip Jar Add-On.

The $75 tier is basically swapping out an extra copy of the game, and the Physical Version contents, for the value of the Art Compendium.

It's just weird to me that the 60$ tier comes with 2 copies of the game and the 75$ tier comes with one. Luckily there is still a lot of time to work this out. Might upgrade to 100...not sure yet.

Edit- Or the tip jar thing is a good solution too. Thanks for the responses.

Well, like I said, it's pure digital. It's not the first fundraiser to do this, either. Game Fundraisers usually have a tier like this because there's a good chunk of people that don't care about having physical goods.

Also them leaving in a digital copy with the physical one is a nice bonus. Most times they just switch them out.

They've said the game was to retail at about $30 anyway, so it made sense to have both at $60 instead of switching.

yeah this tip jar is super good.

i can tip em with money thru out the following year. I'm fine with what tier i'm at. So no need to get more.

Speaking of the Art Compendium, I'm really excited for this one. Not only was the entire team involved with sketching out the Indivisible characters, but we've also seen them create a massive amount of environment art so far.

Safe to say, that by the time the game is done, the amount of concept art in the Compendium is going to be huge compared to Skullgirls. That's not even counting the promotional art, materials made for the animated opening, or the frames for the sprites!

Anyone know if we're able to change our choice of platform on BackerKit once its been submitted once? I'm probably going to go PS4 but would rather be able to keep my options open. It seems we have until the end of 2017 to submit but would rather deal with the email notifications. Also, on the off chance that the game ends up in development for the Switch as well at some point it would be nice to have that option.

Yep, also excited for this since this is the level I'm currently pledged at. Something I think that would be really cool would be a section detailing the process of taking the high tier design-a-boss/incarnation/enemy/secret room concepts from the backers and working with them to translate it into Mariel's/the team's style.

You can change anything at any time.

I feel kinda stupid asking this also I haven't been on Indiegogo in forever, but how do we access the tip jar? I don't want to upgrade, but I want to throw more money at the team.
It's in the add-ons section on your backerkit survey.

F*** yeah!

I didn't expect such boost so fast from the backer kit. :D At this rate Full VO is 90% a given and I'll personally be fully satisfied then.

Full VO feels guaranteed now, which is great.

This also makes me feel far more hopeful about the Ending/dungeon stretch goal. While that's still a reach it seems more doable now, especially since we'll probably see donation spikes when the beta is a thing.

You forget where we are? There is no satisfaction until ERRYTHING is gotten. :T

Dang, drop dead thread huh? I guess everyone, likely including L0, are busy with Christmas. I still can't help but wonder what sorts of animations have been created... Could Ajna be nearing 100% completion?

We got update on funds from Backer Kit.

We almost at $2,019,000 now.
And that number is from 10 days ago. We could be even higher now.

Actually, no. I think they forgot to update the update date (ironicly). When this was first put up it also was 12th December.

Can I voice Lanshi? I know I'm a kitty doll with glasses, but I can make for a pretty convincing dog when I put my mind to it.
