Peacock Rushdown Discussion: Pressure, Mixups etc

*ending block strings with George is an easy way to maintain pressure.
This is only true in retail. One of the beta changes is that L George was changed from +2 on block to -2 on block.

I always found that using the shadow of impending doom as a great startup to a rushdown. Whether it's a simple poke, or a hard hit your opponent has to get up from, SID works wonders. Plus, M hole idea gets you right up in your opponent's face, so SID+M HI would probably be a good start to a bum rush. I'm sure you could also do H HI to flank them, if you wanted.

When you are charging SoID, you are holding a Punch button
QCB+K+P is fake teleport (thingie where you are coming back out of the hole and it spawns a bomb on top of them)
QCB+MK/HK while charging SoID = QCB+K+P = Fake Teleport

So no, you can't do MK/HK Teleport while having SoID charging.

Well, I meant after you performed SoID. It's true you have to hold a button, but you can put it in a sequence. After it's performed, then H/M HI and go from there.

Not sure if this is the most optimal combo to finish the dash vortex. Bits of Argus will miss on squig after same sequence. (Always pixel health left)
Item+(Mk)George combos if opponents guesses crossup and resets if they block item

Not sure how many assists this applies for but someone asked me to record

I'm in the process of making my team tech video, which will show a lot of my rushdown Peacock, but I got some questions. I like to start out the match with Filia, using Peacock's s.hp and Bella h.lnl for my assists. I'll rushdown and mixup best I can with Filia till I can get the meter to dhc and have Peacock at full screen. I'm of the school of thought that the rushdown should be a part of the zoning to keep your opponent guessing. I go for a standard bomb string after argus, with a lk George so that I can then call a m soid and rush in. Having the item held and a walking George covers a massive amount of the screen and allows for an easy way to close space. They will either run away our try and get over the George which gives me an easier time opening them up. This tactic blows up newer players but seems to fail against the old heads. What can I be doing better? Like I said at the start, working on a tech video that will have training mode and real matches to show that this stuff works at some level.
