My favorite part of DBZ is when Piccolo FADCs into Ultra against Freeza

where he just uses all of the Z Fighter's Best Moves in Rapid Secession?
 
Super hyped for this.

This really could bring in a lot of casuals into the fighting game genre.

Characters I definitely want.

Tien.
Krillin (he's pretty much guaranteed.)
Cooler.
Mira. I know he's a game character, but he could be really cool.
Hit. Time stopping martial arts. Could be awesome.

yeah the DBFZ discord blew up when we saw the stream.

it was nuts.

as for Hit and Caulifa... I'm not sure if they're going to be in the starting roster. I can totally see them being DLC though.

either way those two characters are way too popular to not be in this game. They'll make it in someway i'm sure of it.
 
Just noticed som'in... Check the loading screen.... there's a spot for the Dragon Ball... Maybe there's going to be modifiers?

The game's barely even started XD Still a year away, so there's plenty of time =3

Trunks is very likely to be my character. I love playing characters with more disjoint than the rest of the roster. Noobs gonna call me cheap yeeee.

In my 800+ videos, when have I had a hype scream? XD Now, if I was had the mic on for when I killed Marie 300%, maybe.. but I didn't so that doesn't count XD
 
I was kinda hoping Trunks would bring int the Spirit Bomb Sword from the anime with all its glory

I assume 18 is pretty much guaranteed now. Thinking about it, there's not many female fighters in dragon ball.

Though I have heard some have suggest Mai for some classic Dragon Ball representation (and for showing up in Super as well).

Yeah, DB has a bad case of lack of female fighters overall.
Bar 18 i know there's Videl plus maybe some movie-only villains, maybe Chichi if we push it (after all she was in Super DBZ), i don't know what Mai could do if she was playable (or maybe Bulma?) ... Maybe some weapons and stuff?

Otherwise Caulifla or Kale from Super but considering they appeared a bit before the game was announced i don't think they'll be in the base roster if they make it. :/

I still can't get over the fact that, those clothes were picked out by Chi Chi. She made Piccolo look as cool as possible.

here's the cool thing about Krillin's Destruco Disk: you can hold it to charge it up. at max charge it becomes unblockable.

so think about it. you have Buu and he goes into Angry Blast Super. [it has 2 delayed hits, the second one having a fair amount of block stun] and you DHC into Krillin and you hold that Disk till max charge basically having a set up for a guard break. it's going to be nasty as heck

Piccolo does start with his cloak and turban but then tosses them off like a bad ass.
