that said, Dark Dimension X Makai is probably my favorite stage in the vs Capcom meta-franchise

1. This story is obviously Marvel's idea, which is why its playing and even tastes almost like something the MCU would pull off. I wouldnt even be surprised if 80% of the story writers are Marvel influenced.

I seriously dont get why people are still moaning over those characters when Marvel said like, a few dozen times that Sony has those properties under lock and key.
 
Wolvie's been as much of a staple as Ryu has been (and they've been paired up on pretty much every version's art)

And yeah i agree with Kit, not having those guys is just sad... For a game supposed to celebrate both Marvel and Capcom, not having Wolverine (or Dr Doom, Magneto, etc) because of petty rights stuff is just sad.
 
Film adaption license =/= video game license
otherwise we wouldn't have had X-Men or Doom/Skrull/Galactus in MVC3
this is Marvel's hissy fit

MARVEL CAN USE THEM IN WHATEVER THE FUCK THEY WANT ASIDE FROM MOVIES.

Source: every other Marvel game where they cracked and added in the X-Men.

Actually, it's a tad more complicated.

to summarize, Marvel trying as much as it can to sabotage the rights holder of their former franchises (fantastic four, x men, etc.), by giving them the bare minimum of space in any media except the comics.

So, it's a case of greed rather than impossibility, and they'd rather nuke their own game to give a mediocre boost to the MCU characters (they did the same with MvC3/UMvC3) than making it a better title that could not only pander to the MCU press, but also the old timers in the FGC
 
I wouldn't buy this game on release, because its gonna be in the bargain bin in a month
 
Neat feature that was discovered, this game's taking a page from Smash Bros. Moves can become stale on block, and do less chip damage of you do them over and over again. RIP Soul Fist and other super effective zoning tools.

Seriously, I dislike Street Fighter because it's a boring title. We need to get the underrated Capcom Fighting games back. Darkstalkers, Power Stone, and Rival Schools were cool.

But somehow, it's shittier in every conceivable way.
Man, I thought the Zoom-IN in UMVC 3 was stupid at first, but I appreciate it a lot more now, especially with the sinister music.
Once more, I feel like I fucking wished on a Monkey's Paw.
I hoped Ghost Rider would come back, but not like this man... Not like this.
