Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Some bugs i noticed during my sessions. I think most have been noticed but I figured additionnal stuff and screenshots could help.

I jumped over the belu in that place and got hit by it after slashing the vines with the axe and the camera was kinda fucking up and only the belu was on the screen, at the right.

After being hit (forgot who was it) the camera recentred on the characters but both Ginseng and Qadira (at the right) were unable to attack, and attempting to make them attack just made them go around the area with the vines and leaves and then go back, using actions for nothing... And then Ajna got killed so thankfully things went back to normal.

I think people already had this one but i'll post it regardless. It happens when you backtrack (I believe once you beat the sorcerer new enemies appear though i'm unsure if it's this that makes them spawn) and reach that area. One belu likes to get in your party instead of standing in front of them.

Qadira wasn't having any of this :p

Finally the endless slide glitch I talked about on the backer preview thread without screenshots.

Wait is Mike Z voicing an NPC
Mike is a huge nerd for RPGs, i can totally see him voicing multiple NPC characters. kinda like how he was the voice for Tommy Two Tons in SG.

I had a situation where Dhar got targeted by two of the hair ghosts, one grab one attack, and they moved so close together I couldn't tell which was first. I tapped the button just in time to perfect guard the attack and got grabbed fractions later.

you can just ignore all of this and call him Gandalf Fartsmeller Jr for all i care, i'm just making a bit of a proposal.

I've been going with "Noti." Since he's "Not Roti." Plus, it reminds me of "Naughty."

I would totally love that Monster names would show over thier health bars. Maybe after doing som'in like getting a specific NPC to Ajna's town or leveling that npc up.

Better place would be a bestiary or the training ground in Ajna's realm.

i dono. Just som'in, you know? I still don't know the names (and spellings) to most the monsters shown aside the Belu and Hungry Ghost x,x

Maybe something like in Castlevania, the name shows up when you hit them.
And then description in the bestiary that you can check later.

Agreed. The player should be able to check a bestiary if they want, but they shouldn't have to do that to learn enemy names. There's no reason it can't be right onscreen during the fight.

There's no reason it can't, but there's a reason it shouldn't: it puts more text on the screen. This is not a game with a battle interface made of menus.

Players don't have to know enemy names, a bestiary is something they can check if they want.

Ahp seems pretty easy to me. Unless you were calling it a Penanggalan, in which case yeah, spelling is a bit rough.

Honestly just having a beastiary that gets entrees after you beat something would be nice.

Didn't Mike say you can move left as soon as you turn into Anna's other form there at the end? Cause I've replayed the game like 5 times now and still haven't been able to figure it out.

I figured, I noticed all the gems hidden behind busted up walls. Just wasn't sure how you activated the new ability after you got it.

Well it didn't feel simple when I thought I had to move left after changing into Demon Mode at the end

Seriously I did like 5 times cause I thought I had like a frame to do it.

That's a very understandable misunderstanding and I'm sorry you had to go through that

but yeah like everyone said, the instant the Sorc dies you have the ability, just hold dash to activate

The game gives you quite a lenient amount of room to do a full dash to the right and enter demon mode without activating the cutscene, so if people are trying to move fast they'll just find it.

But there is some weird reading comprehension going on here.

So does anyone know how to break down that wall on the side of the temple?
I know what you're talking about, you're not meant to break it from that side, go to the other side of the temple

So, this is hopefully the last question for tonight, how do you make the cat reappear?

I found it's shrine and it popped out only for me to dash jump over it, and now it won't come back it seems? Any way to fix this, cause I really don't wanna spend another hour and a half redoing this.

I played the preview myself some days ago and I can say the developers done some good decisions so you can appreciate more the animation of all characters.
The meters and the danger circles do a solid works to indicate not only when you need to defence, but also take a break from the whole chaos you have to deal when you control 4 chatacters and fighting 5 different enemies on screen.
The new enemies also are funtional, your new allies are interesting, the enviroments ate greater than ever.
However I didn't understood the crystals what kond of purpose serve. Also sometimes even let you have a break, it is still chaotic to the point I needed to battle-smash to victory. Only sometimes wanted to heal or do a super and then press every button just to not waste time with my atttacks. Finally maybe is need to be more forgiving with the combos.
Pther than that, great preview. 8/10 if I have tp give a score.

There is no purpose to the stones. They are here just as an example of a collectible, and in final game they will be used in the upgrade system.

Wait, so you can as well male your character even stronger, like an a normal RPG?
I thought is was called like that because it just copied the playstyle of another game, Valkyrie Profile. So it is a Metroidmania/Fighting/RPG game?

So... Music Monday for Dark Roti battle tomorrow?

I've been thinking about this, getting the music would be cool because it's a really rad tune.

you know i can just rip it by going into the game and turning down all of the audio settings and just having music on

I found a Razmi frame.

I hope Tungar gets a rework. I have not found any combo use for his neutral attack, so it's up-attack all the time unless I want the down launcher (up also launches). Zebei's also kinda simple but at least his neutral attack is a good combo extender to lengthen the timing window on juggles (but his up attack does more damage and has more meter gain... I haven't calculated the action refill times, that's more difficult), his down attack sees use for AoE, and his fast action refill guarantees his part in combos. But I like Tungar, Sumil's voice is growing on me even more and his Level 3 looks awesome.

i've found a use for Tungar's neutral attack.

Ajna Down, Zebei Neutral, Tungar Neutral, Razmi Neutral + Zebei Up, Tungar Down, Razmi Neutral, Tungar Neutral + Ajna Up, Zebei lvl1

So does anyone know how the stacking for Dhar's Down works? I can't tell if it stacks up to 3 times or if I'm wasting bar? Or if it goes away after one hit? Can't consistently see the damage when I'm also doing combos so Idk if its working well.
