Me: I'm still salty from my last ranked match (3 months before) but you know me so well. I'm back.
 
I'm a little miffed that 3.0 is coming so soon. Wanted to see if I could make S+10 before rank X hit.

But I have a theory.

When rank X hits, all the people who were rank S+10 and up will be promoted to rank X, leaving behind all the people who weren't good enough for rank X. So if I just keep at it, I'll have a much easier time making it to rank X.

A special tournament-style Splatfest is coming to Splatoon 2! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are rising up to take the stage, and it’s up to you to vote and battle for your favorite Turtle! Will you root for Raph? Lay down some ink for Leo? Make some noise for Mikey? Or dominate for Donnie?

The first of three Splatfest tournaments will pit Raph against Leo on 5/4-5/5, with the second on 5/11-5/12, featuring Mikey vs. Donnie, and the final match between the winners takes place on 5/18-5/19. Which brother will be crowned the most bodacious?

The first round of the @tmnt Splatfest features Raph vs. Leo and oozes into action 5/4 at 9pm PT!

Yeah. They did that in Splatoon 1 too. But hey, at least it's a unique type of Splatfest. I wasn't expecting a tournament. And it's probably the first time that a Splatfest has happened over just one weekend.

He’s always the most consistent in being well written.

I just wish they didn’t use the shitty new Nickelodeon cartoon designs. No, not the cg cartoon, the NEW one.

True, but he's the definition of "strongest member but never leader because he lacks heart". I think there was 2003 TMNT episode that covered it up. But I'll go with Donnie.
 
The reason why Raph is always written so well is because the 'angry new yorker ' stereotype will always be in, and give him a softer side that comes wants to do good and boom you have an interesting character.

Though I too will be voting for Donnie as of the 4 he's typically the one that gets shit done and is pretty much consistently the strongest character in the games. Not only that but him and Raph are the only two that act like normal, like compared to Leo's 'insufferable' levels of bland and Mikey's 'insufferable' levels of childishness (don't get me wrong they have there moments, like when Mikey does get serious/sad is usually handled well).

Looks like getting to Rank X won't be as tough as I thought.

Have your meter broken in S+ will only rank you down one level instead of booting you back to S+0.

Which is good. That shit was annoying.
 
It's been a five-level reduction for a while now. One-level sounds really tame.
 
Oh, guess I've never been to S+5 to notice.

But yeah, went from S+2 to S+1.

So a few things have been floating around my plaza. But apparently some people are hacking the game to play as Octolings again.

I'm not sure if this is true or not. Has anyone else come across it?
 
I know people hacked the game and posted videos of the Octoling victory poses on youtube.

Haven't seen an Octoling in multiplayer.
