Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Sure is video games in here.
Hey to be fair video games were where the characters came from sdkjfhsfjkhjks

But if we wanna get back on track can I ask? Has anyone gotten messages about NPC tiers lately? Or is that gonna be sent out anytime soon I guess I'm anxious if I accidentally lost an email

Agreed, Aden..... maybe they're in too deep-dev to have time to, or they're at a saturation point with how much new stuff they want to show and just want to save the rest of the surprises, big and small, for release. We'll still get a few Incarnation updates regardless.

Double posting is illegal so i'll just have to hope somebody checks the thread without a notification:

I've got a live update (Ok, it was live last night when I started writing this) from the B-Side Battles stream on Super Arcade, via Mike getting excited and saying too much!

  • The team is indeed too busy to update on social media, they're completely heads down on Indivisible, "on the home stretch", and mere months away from release. Actual release date "will depend on the publisher".
  • Mike really excited about how much the battle system and gameplay has changed, they've had a major revamp for "about 4 months". Mike considering a Salty-style stream showcasing some changes, but fear spoiling too much.
  • How much game they have now "is nuts". The team did a publisher playtest recently to verify their work, the playtester played for over 4 hours and saw under 20% of the total amount of game content. This is easily the most hype announcement yet to me. Said playtester also skipped all of the text );

Bonus Twitter reconnaissance: Mariel has tweeted about being too busy to draw, but Alex has been showing off some commissions and his OC Fallout recently. Perhaps all of the character concepts and splash/story art are complete, but as far as animation goes there's still much work to be done?

YASSSSSSS THIS IS FANTASTIC NEWS. I was a little worried about the game because we didn't get an update since early October. Now that I know they've been on the grind making sure the game is at it's best quality I'M SUPER HYPED.

Being so close to the new year I expected them to go dark to get into the typical rush. Glad they are starting to wrap up and even more so that everything's coming together. They've got som'in special here and I really hope this doesn't get pushed aside as some "niche" title by the media and gamers

Your post was Nov 10, and the update was today. i think the "double post" rule would of been waved. I would of missed this if Mellow didn't reply.

Weekly Salty style streams for Indivisible would be really cool. I always thought it would have been nice if the development streams had been on a more regular schedule, but oh well. Preview streams would definitely be good for building more hype as they get closer to release though. Even just having Alex on again to do an updated non-spoiler lore stream would be nice for getting some people a bit more informed.

Okay so I looking up the indivisible incarnations on google images, and I saw a preview of the Hunoch portrait render that they would display for the character bios on the website. I opened the image in a new tab just to get a closer look, then after I got curious and and changed the url names of the incarnation to see there were more portrait. To my surprise there was.

If you wish to not see the portraits then I'll put a spoiler tag on it, but we've seen all the incarnation before.
(These are not the full renders btw. They are just small previews of the renders)

Holy shit, just look at this pudgy ball of cute.

Such a cutie patootie.
Leilani officially confirmed as mai waifu.
Zahra a cute too.

My favorite is Nuna; Peruvian Plant Princess.

Pretty much all of the redesigns look awesome and were immense improvements imo. Also I second Sangmu being a mega Tibetan cutie pie.

I lean more toward Zahra my self because of her colors being so pleasing to look at, but yeah Sangmu is really cute. I'm hoping they are able to update us more on the game this month and/or next month. I'm super curious about the refinements to the battle system and hopefully some new music.

They all cute as heck. But where's Naga Rider?

Kushi & Altun, Thorani, Yan, Naga Rider, and Kampan were unavailable. So maybe they will be there when the website updates in the future. I'm actually really hyped to the full things of each one myself.

Kushi's in there. Also Qadira, for the people that were wondering about her before. Looks safe to say that the still missing ones will show up eventually, but the images seem to suggest that the site is going to go through another format change for the Characters section. Hopefully they roll that out soon.

Before it’s too late can we go multiPlatform? I got a switch over the holidays and want the digital code there and the physical copy on my ps4.

Did you not fill out your survey? Digital and physical have always been separate options.

it looks like the tired eyes and the long hair are gone forever now. sigh.
i guess it's cool that they kept the color and the freckles... sigh

now don't get me wrong i'm not saying this is a bad character design, i'm honestly just sad that due to the changes she's not among my favorites anymore.
who knows maybe they'll get me to change my mind in the future, but right now all i'm feeling is disappointed. :(

Wow is this place working again? Fortunately/Unfortunately we haven't had much news over the last couple weeks anyway, just those few teases from Mariel.

Omg Skullheart's back! ♥♥

in news, the backer surveys are closed. Here's what was from Steam:
This is it, folks – things are starting to get serious.

Indivisible's launch (date still to be announced) is rapidly approaching. The game is more or less playable from beginning to end, albeit with some bugs and placeholder.

With the game’s release in sight, it’s time to start wrapping things up and lock down orders.

Today is the deadline to update your survey, change your address, or change your desired game platform.

While we will always try to accommodate, we can make no guarantees that changes will be accepted after this date, as we need to begin setting up manufacturing and distribution on two continents.

To change or verify your shipping address or platform, please contact BackerKit customer service here:

https://indivisible-rpg-from-the-creators-of-skullgirls.backerkit.com/faq#contact-us

Address changes made through Indiegogo will not be accepted.

Also of note, we still have roughly 2500 unanswered surveys.

If you supported the game and have not received any e-mails or surveys from Indiegogo or BackerKit in the last three years, please contact indiegogo (at) labzerogames (dot) com IMMEDIATELY so we can track down your order.

All unanswered surveys will be defaulted to Steam codes, the DRM-free PC physical version of the game, and L T-shirt sizes, and shipped to whatever address we currently have on-hand.

We’re extremely grateful for your contributions and want you to get your stuff, but if you don’t have any way of being reached there’s only so much we can do.

Thanks for your attention to this matter – we’re excited to get the game and goodies in your hands, and this is the first step to making that a reality!
course, this was about a week old, but news is news!

HEY IT HAS RETURNED, also from what I'm guessing from what Mariel posted. They probably are wrapping up dialogue cut scenes or midway through completing the cut scenes. Hoping they show more illustrated cut scenes in the near future. Honestly any new update would be cool to see.

It's back? It's back!

I was waiting a while to talk about that post. An "ad-libbed" mode that's all the placeholder dialogue would be great, just for fun like Butt Mode from Shovel Knight.

Seeing how Lab Zero has made other little fun modes this could be something they would do after the game releases.

would be cute to see the voice actors also preform those silly temp lines as well.

Could we not post during the "down" time? I knew the main page and the actual navigation were broken but I could still make it back to this thread. I just didn't bother posting because there was still nothing new.
